Yep. He signed my copy of his DVD. My father got him to sign it a week ago on Friday at Sonar in Baltimore on 1/15/10, and shit. He even spelled my name right! I shook his hand, really seemed like a cool guy even though I talked to him for like 3 seconds. I even had to wait 5 or more hours to publish the DVD in Windows Movie Maker because I KNOW I'll watch that more than 1,000,000,000 times, and I don't wanna ruin the DVD. He signed it! Its special to me now!

what makes you think karl is an egomaniac? I've seen videos where he comes out before shows and shakes hands with ppl from the audience. he seems like a really down to earth guy. and his solo albums great, I can't see how anyone can't enjoy them.

dallas has decent vocals but I actually like karl's deeper growls more. and nergal and mikael akerfeldt are examples of greater contemporary death vocalists.

Original drummer: Pete Hammoura on "Into the Catacombs of Nephren-Ka", who had to quit due to sever shoulder injuries. "Black Seeds of Vengeance" was Derek Roddy, and the touring for that album as well as the following album, "In Their Darkened Shrines" was Tony Laureano. They then got George and he's been in ever since.

yea he uses 5AN, cuz i tried out a pair and i loved them. they're like a good mix between 5A and 5B. and they're fairly leightweight. light, but have that like..significance that tells you that they're there and if you can go faster or not. idk, its hard to describe, but awesome sticks

ever try Ahead aluminum sticks?a bit expensive but they have replaceable parts, killer rebound and very strong.i love 5a but they break after a few too many rimshots. it gets expensive after a while.worth checkin out. DRUM ON!

oak is more durable. its a tougher wood. altho, i've only ever had to buy 1 other pair of hickory. from vic firth i mean. i had a pair of vader 5A, not to fond of em. i broke those. but ive only ever had to replace my hickory 5 AN's once. so, i guess go with what suits u best. but oak shud hold up abit longer than hickory cuz its a stronger wood.

Aheads are nice unless you do a ton of rimshots. I popped both of mine about six months after I got 'em. Still, thirty bucks over six months is cheaper than forty bucks over six sticks.

But they're a little heavy, and the rebound feels funny to me.

george could do so much better than nile. their music has all the right elements of a brutal death metal band but they just sound weak. behemoth are tecnically less skilled than nile but their energy just comes through more in the music, something which nile lack.
