  • Blue Horseshoe loves Anacott Steel!

  • I think Daryl played a great materialistic bitch personally......

  • Gordon Gecko Lord Rothchild's right hand man on wall street.

Scary that these people are the supreme commanders of our world. Where US Presidents are mere puppets of these people.

Break the power of Gordon Gecko and his Boss Lord Rothchild, Audit and End the Federal Reserve the Holding Company or Gordon Gecko and his Boss Lord Rothschild.

  • Still my favorite movie of all times

  • THE TERMINATOR

  • Its people like this run the world the financiers. Politicians are puppets of these evil geniuses. In fact this movie tells a lot of truth. Gordon gecko himself said to Bud fox "we run the world pal, economic depression, war, economic boom and prosperity we pulled that rabbit out of the hat and the rest of the world wonders how we did". Never a truer word spoken from an elitist.

  • How I miss the 80's :( Such an amazing film!! Ten times better than Money Never Sleeps.

  • I thought this music was reminiscent of "The Equalizer" and now I know why. Stewart Copeland is the composer.....excellent!

  • "Greed is good"

  • for me the most surreal part is how they keep telling darien is the best money can buy : pheww ....if that's so then 80's were the decade of fugly chicks...

  • steward copeland rules !

  • Wall Street is really amazing film, true classic of the 80's. Michael Douglas and Charlie Sheen were brilliant but I didn't like Daryl Hannah. They should have put Kim Basinger, Michelle Pfeiffer or Kathleen Turner instead of her - 3 most successful actresses of the 80's.

    I highly recommend this movie.

  • @Magnolia296 : completely agree. I read that Daryl Hannah didn't even like her character due to its' materialistic, shallow and greedy nature as she is complete opposite and an activist. Most of the crew didn't even know why she was in that role. Kim Basinger or Michelle Pfeiffer would have been awesome indeed.

  • @abcumm23 sharon stone?

  • Daryl Hannah was perfect for this role, Kim Basinger was much of a girl next door doesn't have that sultry look, Michelle Pfieiffer too much of an edge, K Turner nah, Romancing the Stone was her.

Casting in this movie was as close to perfect as you can get from Bud's buddy at work, his dad, even the jew lawyer lol and of course Gekko.

  • @Mr99Burns Daryl Hannah wasn't great choice for this role. Almost all movie critics stated that and that's why she won Razzie Awards for her so-called "acting". Kim Basinger is very talented and versatile. The fact she is very hot & beautiful (unlike ugly Hannah) doesn't mean she would look like a girl next door. Michelle Pfeiffer is 100x more talented than Hannah. K.Turner - debatable. Even Madonna would do better job than daryl Hannah

  • Agree about D Hanna....one more thing ....Stone gave M Douglas a great name, Gordon Gekko...yet Sheen got saddled with "Bud Fox"...."Bud?" I know, I know...blue collar roots, but still.

  • @Magnolia296 I completely agree with you!

  • @Magnolia296 Agreed all around, especially on the different actress part..

  • Stewart Copeland of The Police.

  • Reminds me of the music from the TV show "Dead Like Me"

Very similar in style. Wonder if it is the same composer?

  • Yes, it is! Very good of you to catch it. He also scored "Rumble Fish" (absolutely amazing), a film called "Fresh" and a bunch of other stuff. He has a very distinct style that, once you are familiar with it, becomes immediately recognizable. It helps that he seems to do movies and shows I like anyway.

  • Was this made on the Synclavier? It reminds me of the stuff Zappa did on his "Jazz From Hell" album. (I like the Wall Street soundtrack, btw, thanks for posting : )

  • Yes it is wait until u see the modern uptodate version. Its coming out soon!!!!

  • It's fantastic! simply fantastic...

  • Yay for Copeland. So good at music creation.
