  • @GarthanSaal444 LOL so true. The only vehicle I had as a kid was a speeder bike, from 1983.

  • The Falcon was for the rich kids! Poor kids like me had to settle for the landspeeder.

I kid you not. My brother and I made a homemade Milennium Falcon out of a shoebox and taped a watch case to the side for the cockpit!

  • @GarthanSaal444 Its Ok mostly everyone does that!

  • My favoritest Chistmas toy ever! Everything after was like a pile of puke.

  • I had this as a kid and took real good care of it now my 8 year old has it!

  • When I got mine as a birthday gift from my older brother, it was a shocker. He just gave it to me. I still have it, complete with little disco ball thing for saber practicing and stickers all in place AND the box in excellent condition. I played with it well, but I learned from appreciating that gift so much to always take care of my stuff which I still do to this day. Seeing all these ads reminds me I have got store them better!

  • Dad bought this for me and by 1986 it was in my backyard growing mildew and stuff. Man I never thought this would mean jack 24 years later.

  • It's so important to remember that the action figures are each sold seperately that he says it twice.

  • For some fucked up reason, my parents decided to give this to my 4 year old brother for Christmas instead of of me (I was 11). WTF is a 3 year old going to do with this thing? I am 41 now and am still bitter about it...

  • @cornjuicy thats just sick,my parents were trying not to get me one,and today,i still dont have it

  • This was one of the ONLY original line of star wars toys I never had but wanted.

  • I had it, it was HUGE! The only ship I wanted but never had was the Snowspeeder.

  • Still got mine!!!

  • I had that too, but my father put it in the garage and left the dog in there with it while we went out one day. Upon coming home, my death star had been shredded by the dog, who had serious separation anxiety issues.

  • they just released it again from Hasbro. Set you back around $150 to buy it... no place in my room and I didn't want to look like the 40 old virgin (i'm 27) so i didn't pick it up, but damn i was tempted!!!

  • I'm 24 and I picked it up. Seriously, get it. I can say without hesitation that it's the coolest Star Wars toy I've ever seen.

  • All I can say is,oh my. The BRAND NEW,tricked out,big ass Millennium Falcon, bloooooooows this old timer away. But,it still and always will, have a place in my heart.

  • I saw that the new one cast 149 dollars...they can keep it! I am perfectly content with the 1979 one that is probably worth that much at least.

  • Its the ship from star wars!

  • Jesus, when were you born? 2004?

  • it was a quote from robot chicken fffffssss!!

  • A "Millenium Falcon," aside from being the ship from Star Wars, is a phoenix. Every one thousand years (one millenium) the bird would build itself a nest, set it on fire, be consumed by the flames, and be reborn from the ashes as a young phoenix. Because of the self-sacrifice motif and the rising from the dead, the bird became an early symbol for Jesus Christ. In this sense, the ship, and the bird, are symbolic of the nest holding and guarding the New Hope and the core of the reborn Republic.

  • I still remember the Christmas I got it and to this day every now and then I pull it out of storage and take a nice trip down memory lane with it.

  • Hasbro made a new Falcon for the new Star wars movie its the same one as back in the day but this one lights up and the figures can actually go through the hall way from the cockpit to the passenger area. BUT THE DAMN THING IS $149!!!!!!!!!!!

  • My mum gave alot of my stuff away including this. I still moan about it twenty years later

  • Damn i had so many starwars toys back in the early 80s,those were the days. Priceless

  • Damn! Those 70's kids had the best Star Wars toys I have ever seen. They had it lucky!

  • 00:07 - Chewie talks?! O.o

  • LMAO, good catch...

and WTF is with pronouncing it "Millenium Felken"!?

  • In the movies he could actually talk, he just chose not to just to be a dick and alienate everyone. :P

  • i have this on the attic.. in good shape. Great details and a buzzzzz sound when you press a button.. Star Wars was magical when i was a boy..and still is i guess..

  • "she can make the Kessel run in less than 12 parsecs"!!

  • I remember the X-mas i Received this, although it didn't stay Wrapped for long. I knew it was under the Tree so I tore a piece of the Wrapper off and told my Mom "The Dog did it" and since I now know what it is, she might as well let me open it!She did and I was happier than a Droid in a Oil Bath! Ahhh Memories.

  • Oh the X-Mas I received this when I was a Kid, Although waiting til X-mas to open it was another Story. I knew it was Wrapped under the Tree so I tore a Piece of Wrapper off and Told my Mom "the Dog Got to it" and since I now know what it is, she might as well let me open it. She did and

  • lol I have the lego millenium falcon the big one :)$500

  • I had the original as a kid. An older kid in the neighborhood sold me his used one for $5 when I was about 10. I had wanted one so bad until that point, it was all I could think about. It came with 6-7 figures too. What a deal, I made out like a bandit. I played with it until there was hardly anything left of it. Have the suped up version now (released in 97), don't play with that one much, just looks and memories. It was a great time to grow up (80's).
