There's no excuse for being a hipster. Just judging by the Answer handle bars I'm going to say they're paying $750 for a FIXED gear bike. That would not be surprising if it were a track bike, but it's not. These guys are a joke, with mediocre skills at best.

wow i live in socal and i ride my fixed gear a lil more urban than most, but i have deep vs what kinda rims are you running? they seem way stockier and stronger and you have really fat tires where can i get those?

@huntermorley There are special frames like from Charge and Volume that offer trick bikes that have wider geometry's for tires.

@huntermorley There are single speed MTBs like the Redline Monocog with horizontal dropouts. I suicidal-fixed the wheel on mine with a track cog and Locktite glue. I haven't been able to screw it off with my legs and believe me I have tried.

tom lamarche is always ahead of the game. when riders were into the whole "track" stage he was doing bmx style. Now that most riders are wanting to do bmx tricks he is now doing mtn bike style. I anticipate that by next year many riders will be running 38c tires with wide bars and unicrown forks.
