  • these are very good tutorials many thanks

  • was this used in north african front???

  • @HeartGoldMVP yes 1943

  • Noriyuki Kato is a master!! Excellent video!! Thank you for posting this video on YouTube!!

  • holy shizzle, cant believe he did all those tracks, i would rather have a rubber one....

  • @MrEmoComedian It's matter if of patience, like all in this hobby.

  • nice video!

  • Does anyone know what company´s figures he uses? They look like expensive resin figures...

  • i love when they read english......lol

  • at 4:50 into the video, you see why Tamiya has slipped out from being dominate in 1/35.

  • dmls sd.kfz 251 series are the best out there, HOWEVER be careful of DML's sd.kfz 250 series because they lack the gearbox thats supposed to be inbetween the 2 front seats. To get a gearbox, youll need to get the DML sd.kfz 250/9 premium kit, it has it,odd.

  • hmzfühl mich irgendwie allein..:( will einer mit mir schreiben hab auch bilder und so

  • 4:35 best...box...opening...ever....

  • especially this one...

    lol =)

  • you can always tell a kit is going to turn out incredible when the modeler is an old experienced guy

  • nothing like starting to paint with a coffee on a snowing late night... Equlibrium

  • Recently I bought Tamiya's new Jagdtiger model and also bought Dragon's newest Jagdtiger. The Tamiya kit was almost $20 more. The only plus with it was it had both individual link tracks and rubber band tracks. The Dragon kit came with a metal barrel, photoetch, individual link tracks, and more options to build it as. This is the norm. Dragon/DMl, Trumpeter, Tristar, AFV Club, Bronco, and the newer Italeri kits are my favs. Tamiya, not so much. Some Tamiya kits like the FAMO are still top notch.

  • You're right, a lot of Tamiya kits tend to be overrated and massively overpriced. The only really good thing about Tamiya kits is that they're easy to build but lately the Chinese manufacturers are catching up in terms of fit and quality. For detail and in-box value, I still believe DML can't be beat.

  • dml is dominate, due to whats in the box and the quality have gotten past tamiya and moreover the prices.

  • @Silnius very true but let's hope in the future tamiya will improve.Throw away all the old ones and give the us the new ones!

  • dragon has so much detail. only models i buy!!!

  • if japanese models are so good how come they always use dragon models? you japs cant accept the fact that theres always going to be something better than you

  • it just varies, I personally don't build armor so I can't comment on that but I build cars and I find that Tamiya does better then many other companies in that category. Plus there are companies that dont have the certain model produced so you can't always stick with the same company. Either way, I find that tamiya mainly produce cars/bikes and armor is to a lesser extent.

  • yes the japs are good modelers , there are good modelers every where, but the best models happen to be in china, tamiya is a crap japanese company that adds 20 or more dollars USD to a old re issued kit just for adding 3 or 4 photo etched parts, dragon and trumpeter how ever have better modling techniques such as slide molding, their prices in america are better than tamiyas, for the same price dragon includes better extras and details

  • that may be true and dragon and trumpeter is also 2 great companies tamiya is awesome even if they may charge u more but great detail!

  • Among the hardcore military modelers, especially WWII vintage stuff, Tamiya is not first choice. They repackaged and resold old kits for years and never corrected them. Their Stuart tank kit is so wrong it should be a crime to sell it. The FAMO kit is still considered one of the best kits ever. The market is changing and dollar for dollar Tamiya isn't giving what the other mfgs are in their kits. Check out an armor modeling site like Armorama and see for yourself whose kits ate most popular.

  • the stuart kit is horrible and i know they're reselling old kits and all but THANK GOD FOR THE TAMIYA BRITISH MATILDA I'VE BEEN DYING FOR ONE!

  • i own an old Tamiya Matilda kits. i hate the hard plastic one piece tracks the old kits had. above i mention the Jagdtiger kit, it IS a nice!. i haven't nit-picked it over for accuracy, but then i'm not a hard core rivet counter. if the same vehicle or subject is offered by all the "good" companies, Tamiya wouldn't be my first pick. i recall reading someone heading Tamiya had passed away and mgmt had changed. They drifted for a time losing their path but have now refocused. time will tell.

  • mmmmmmmm!! Jagtigers i luv that tank

but hopefully tamiya in the future will provide newer kits with new tooling!

  • the jagdtiger is new tooling. i liked the option with tracks as both individual link and one piece types. the one piece jobs are a softer plastic than the stuff the older kits have. those hard tracks i replace with Fruilmodel metal tracks. I did an old Soviet SU 122 anti tank tracks and those Fruils really set it off, the way they hang between the rollers. i can never get the bends out of those old hard plastic one piece tracks either. a metal barrel would have made the Jagdtiger kit perfect!

  • u gotta love the aftermarket parts

  • the new Tamiya Matilda has been drawing raves. Dragon has some new releases, but m many are more of the same old stuff- another (limited edition) Sd Kfz 250 with a cannon. I forgot which one, but it's just the Sd. Kfz. 250/10 w. 3.7 cm PaK, Sd. Kfz. 250/11 le SPW with Panzerbuchse 41, etc with a different gun. They released another F1 Flammpanzer and another 8 ton halftrack as if there aren't enough of those represented. there are so many great vehicles ignored that would make great models!

  • well the matilda was a blast to build and some dragon models r good to buthas more parts and more time

  • for me its the new Tamiya JSU-152, which ill change to a JSU-122, the aftermarket companies will ambush this kit and ravage it with many P/E and resin just like they did with the Js-2m from Tamiya. ABER rocks!

  • this guy is so good along wid kaneko tatsuya

  • awesome

  • you don't know what i feel when i open one of those boxes!!!

  • Orgasmic! ;-P

  • nive video

  • Magnifico y realmente impresionante, muy instructivo.

  • is that over 1000 pieces for that kit!? incredible!

  • Hey JAGPANTHER20 do you ever want that model?

  • Yes, Dragon models are well-known to be the most detailed military models ever. This Hong Kong model company is much better than the two Japanese model companies namely Tamiya and Hazegawa.

  • i agree , dragon is one of the best but also alot more expensive but you get high quality stuff

  • as long as its not Trumpeter....

  • why people rate -3 for you>?>

  • lol!

  • Wow the tracks look really complicating. Probably the hardest tracks ever made I've seen so far.

  • here in england those dragon half tracks are £25 or more!!!

    great show

  • the pt-109 modeler strikes again. he's 1 of the best.

  • he MAY be the most skilled guy on this show.

  • @BOROCKHARDJR yes its true but do you understand a word of what he said? the videos are great, the only thing missin is the subtitles.

  • Yay, new episode! I love how these things keep coming!

  • Thanks again

  • keep it up good job
