I also have a KX250 K3. You won't be wanting for power. It's like holding on to Godzilla by the ears. It's the specific power that is so addicting. No wait for it power. It comes on as fast as you can twist the throttle. Just be sure that your balls on up by the gas cap when you ask for all of it. :)

pollordubai, i would recomend the crf150, it needs low service, great for offroad and just an amazing all around bike.

If you dont have experience on dirt bike , you are not a technical rider it's much easier to ride a 250 2 stroke(& having fun) in sand or soft gravel imo . You should buy a 4 stroke (250 or +) or 250 2 stroke... 125 cc 2 stroke suck !!! try a 125cc in soft sand and you will see

@pollordubai i had experience in riding quads for about 5 or 6 years before i got my first dirt bike. and i went straight to a 2006 CRF 450R.. if you respect the power you can get pretty much any bike.. PS i went from a honda 300ex to a crf450r
