Okay, as I kept watching, I thought that Fred was staggering and bending her back a bit too much. And I've seen this girl play Larkin in the other parts of this particular production and I think her character's supposed to be less overacted and more of a sweet, cliche princess, right?
This scene brings back many memories...The Jester and Minstrel were both female, so it threw the lines, and their meanings off...And us being teenagers took it the wrong way...It was amusing to say the least...
And I was the only one on the Tech Crew who knew what a libertine was!
There are quite a few really bad versions of mattress that have been posted on here. For this version, I love the King, and completely hate Winnifred. I wish I had the footage of my schools's version to post. We kiscked some medieval ass! And yes, The shrek slippers are very much just strange.
Aren't Dauntless and Winnifred supposed to like each other? Thats not what I'm gettin from these two. And do es the cast know that Microphones project your voice and you don't have to shout.

I don't think they're that bad, actually. The Queen does do an unnecessary amount of yelling by the end, though. x_x

Wow.
The set is amazing.
The costumes not so much.
Along with the acting.
But some of the characters are okay.
And the Quiet chant is great.
In about two weeks we're putting on this show, I play Larken and I've got to admit our actors are a tad bit better.
But thanks for posting this :D
