@impulsoprog I dont think i do any more of that one but ive come a long way since that. And after a year of hauling around a Marshall 4x10, ive made my own lightweight 1x12 Celestion Neodymium driven cabs. These two put out just as much sound as the Marshall 4x10 and are sooo easy to transport. Ive done loads of gigs with them and theyr work great. I'll send u a link to my webpage when i get some photos online.
@baronofbefoulment Yeh, its main use was for a bass extension cabinet and did the job extremely well. The subs used gave great low frequency response, are extremely hard wearing with the plastic cones and were great value for money too. There was nothing more suitable for the job than these on the budget i was on. Thanks for your suggestion though. I sold the one in the video but made another one without the tweeters and thats done over 70 gigs and is still going strong! :-)
@ChristopherDowning it was the only mic i had at the time and kept the volume low and distance from source big enough. Im happy enough with the result i got.
It was only a clip to show the cab working to sell it. The guy who bought it was so happy with it and has done tons of gigs with it.
@cyreander My cab handled the power fine. With the two speakers connected in series they are 8 Ohm and capable of handling 250W rms. The little giant puts out 2 x 500W at 4 Ohm so at 8 Ohm this is about 375W i believe. Therefore it powered the speakers fine but i would not recommend turning the volume nob past 75% to prevent overpowering the speakers.
@cyreander Bit of a late reply, but that situation is fine aslong as you use your ears. As soon as the cab starts to distort and 'fart' as it gets commonly called turn the amp down
Where do you buy the corner post pieces? And what is the proper name for them?

You should drop in some PA speakers or a pair of bass speakers. The subs that are in the picture aren't the best for guitar, or even bass guitar.

Not the best mic to use. Who told you to use a large diaphram condenser?

how did the little giant 1000 get along with a 250 W box ? I thought I´ll nee a 500 Watt /8 Ohm at least....
