I cried when I first saw this video. It touched my heart to see such a sad sight. I love Ozamiz city. I have been there and I love the people of that city. I am saddened by this tragic loss and I will pray for everyone there.
i am using my brothers account.I didn't know about this.Haven't been to Ozamis for almost 8 months now.I used to go to church there in Happy Church Ozamis when I was still a kid until my elementary days with my grandmother (lola lusing).She passed away last Dec 2005.I even had my child dedication in this church.Nanay elvy there's a rainbow after the storm... :D Happy church is a part of what I become right now.Thank you very much happy church:D

HAPPY CHURCH OZAMIS, it may seem blurry today, but everything will be cleared tomorrow for GOD will never allow something that is not for a GREATER PURPOSE. One day everything will turn out as it should be, for HIS glory.

My dear friends...words cannot express all the sadness I feel at what has happened to the Happy Church building. My memories are vivid and rich of the times I sang and worshipped the Lord with you all there. It seems like only yesterday. How much more so for those of you who grew up, and worshipped, there every week. My heart goes out to all of you, to Pastor Elvie Go, and those to whom this building was truly the visible tangible representation of the inward life which Christ has given you all.
The enemy has tried his best, even as he did on Calvary two thousand years ago, to devour the life of Christ. But the True Life of Christ cannot be extinguished! From the ashes of death He arises--Christ in US, the HOPE of Glory!--and the ugly devourer is vanquished by the sheer indominatable spirit of the people, so filled with the unspeakable joy of their Saviour, that transcends circumstances and hardship, setbacks and all adversity! For the LORD is our Tower, and HE shall crush the devourer!
To this wonderful building, we say farewell, and thanks for every cherished memory! You were alive to us all these years, you were indeed more than a building, your very spirit was also alive in us, week after week. And just as our mortal bodies shall return to dust, you have gone on ahead of us. But as our frail bodies shall one day put on immortality, we will see you again in your future glorified state...and what a wonderful day that shall be!

I cried when I saw this video because I was there when it started fr the scratched, It is an old ruggedy building according to others but to me, It was a beautiful church, filled with wonderful people , I had a wonderful wedding there and with wonderful people that trusted their daily faith to the Good Lord.
Be strong and take courage Happy Church, for God will raise you up from the ashes again...your sorrow and mourning will be turn to dancing and joy once more...
