BNSF has trackage rights on the Lufkin Sub, Palestine Sub, and between Houston and Beaumont. KCS also has trackage rights on those 4 lines to acess Houston since KCS has no mainline from Shreveport or Beaumont into Houston.

@UnionPacificBNSF Yes, but as far as I know (based on the BNSF system map), BNSF does not normally have trackage rights on the UP line between Longview and Dallas, which includes the Mineola Sub. They do have trackage rights on the Little Rock Sub, however, in addition to the other lines you mentioned.

@crazyrailfan The Hyundai intermodal cars should have tipped me off that it was in fact a BNSF train, but I just couldn't reconcile it with the fact that BNSF ordinarily does not have trackage rights over that part of the UP system. I had forgotten about the flooding on the Missouri and the impacts it had on the BNSF lines through there.
