NDL??? come on boys, stingers are for guys who cant throw the big boy balls, ive played against you guys and your AGP counterparts (some of who can actually play REAL DODGEBALL, so, respect) in real 6v6 6 8.5" balls, and smoked em.... you wanna be a real dodgeball player? then stop conforming to the NDL and their little bs CRUTCH the "stinger"... the NDL is a joke and makes a mockery of this sport... LA dodgeball Society is where you'll find americas BEST players. if you cant pinch, dont play
Pinching is considered cheating actually, We love to do it, here in boston, but its somewhat against the rules, and to call stingers a joke, that means you have no arm what so ever so stop bitching , and EiCreations, You can play in 2 divisions, stinger, and 8.5, stinger has 2 stingers and 4 bigs, 8.5 just has 6 bigs, the big boys* play stinger, and yes, i can throw both.
Pinching is considered cheating in the NDL. Not back then the NDA was still around. Its also not cheating in the LADBS. Iv played both styles in quality tournaments. I do believe the stinger play is tilted toward baseball players. I can throw a stinger in the upper 50's but i could throw a pinched 8.5" dodgeball in the low 70's...Id say that isnt too bad for someone who never played baseball.
@xxphenom87xx I agree with you, I don't really think its tilted towards baseball players, I know a few people that have never played baseball and can throw them pretty hard, We just had a tournament in boston 2 months ago and they had a radar gun, I threw the stinger 83, I wish I knew what I threw the 8.5's pinched and not pinched, I didn't even think off trying it, I know its up there though.
"and to call stingers a joke, that means you have no arm what so ever ," Thats contradictory. that would mean a small ball is harder to throw than a large ball. its not a matter of the 5" ball being harder to throw, it's a matter that the smaller ball is in fact easier to throw, hence why when these guys come out to pinching tournaments they get railed usin8.5 n pinching is only considered cheating in NDL because when NDL first started, LADBS smoked everyone in their tourney.
I know moast of these guys and they're pretty awesome. Thet're really cool some of them are actually also friends of mine like Kirk we go out to lunch like once amonth and just hangout, He's also awesome at Guitar Hero!
hey let me tryout for your team, i believe im the best, i won back to back championships for my school and we killed everybody and i was the captain, we would seriously do some damage if i were on your team.
