Tyler Perry's "For Colored Girls... " motivated me to finally take action on a long held dream of mine to contribute and participate in the healing dialogue of women of color. My hope is that this short piece will continue the discussion of emotional health which is an underlying theme of "Colored Girls". Please stay tuned for more pieces and the December launch of my website. Thank you all for your viewership.
I watched this video in silence, to see if I could capture the essence of its meaning without its words. The flow of the video is consistent with the fact that there is an unseen problem. Although there is no solution presented in this video, the intent of expression is clear. Great Stuff!

I know a lot of women can relate to this piece, but my question to them is have you sought help, are you able to say " I was that women at some point"? I can, that's why it was so easy for me to do this piece. God Bless!
