  • She was the best female actor this year in a leading role, if I met her in real life I would expect to address her as Lisbeth sans Rooney.

  • Amazing girl..

  • Rooney Mar...seriously?

  • 0:50 what he didn't say?

  • The films are great as they are, they don't need an American version...

  • @NathangoesRAWR think of this movie as like a cover song. There are many great cover songs but there are many terrible cover songs but even if there is one that sucks it won't hurt the origional . So an American version wouldn't hurt. But there are some cases where the cover song is better than the origional. What I'm saying is that this one could be better than the swedish one but there is no way of saying at this point.

    @NathangoesRAWR

    exactly! and Stieg Larsson actually wanted the movie to be made into a hollywood film. obviously so his fantastic story, that meant so much to him, could reach and inspire more people around the globe.

    i'm normally against hollywood re making films, especially foreign ones that are faultless to a tee (even though i hated the original), but i think the re-adaptation will blow everyone's hats off.

  • @NathangoesRAWR There was no reason for the Swedish film to exist if one doesn't bother to stay faithful to the source material.

  • they don't need another crappy hollywood remake.....

  • @NathangoesRAWR Good thing it isn't a remake then. It's a re-adaptation.

  • @NathangoesRAWR Excuse me but David Fincher does not make anything "crappy". I would bet David Fincher and his team would make a better film than the Swedish one anyway.

  • @davidmcdonald86 Indeed they did. To me, anyway. I liked the swedish film but i absolutely loved this one. In fact it's the best film I've seen in years. Plus Niels Arden Oplev, who directed the swedish adaptation, says that Fincher was a huge influence on his style, so I really do find it humorous when these morons call Fincher a "hollywood hack". Also, Mara was a lot closer to the Lisbeth I read in the books.

  • Can't wait!!!
