He had sonic where he wanted him, but then he had decided to leave his balls open for sonic to hit whenever he avoids death.

the glitch where you got squished but not die i can explain

its impossible to get squished when the piston goes up so the game developers put invisible blocks which solidify the ceiling you just happened to get into the area where the block doesnt reach hope that explains it

If that would have happened, the game would freeze. I believe it's programmed so you can only hit him once and only once.

Well, I try it and really happened. The game DIDN'T freeze. I hit Robotnik two times in one round

How: I hit Robotnik when was coming out, and after jumped and jumped on he until there was a extra hit

ye but if you have it for sega genisis at the main game scren if you press up down left right on the d-pad and then you hold a and press start. You unlock all the levels and you can play at which one you want

it was only one hit, in that small smace you bounce between him and the wall, but only 1 hit counts

@marquitoszarate bpblu is right. I just looked up another video to see if there is a slight delay between your attack and him finally being defeated. The same thing happened when another player did it. Also, count the number of hits it took for him to die; only eight, just like every other boss in the game. He didn't need a ninth.

I've never played the final zone, but I wish I did. I could never even get past Labyrinth Zone.

Just a question about the Final Zone:

After you beat the boss in the cylindrical pistons, he runs to his ship and tries to get away. What happens when you DON'T jump and hit his ship?

Nothing, really. Hitting him is optional... I always hit him though... and teach him a lesson.

Nope, if you hit him twice the game freezes. That's how I can tell. The game will not let you hit Robotnik more than once per cycle.

@bpblu False. You can hit him twice in a round anytime you can, as long you don't score more than 8 hits in total. Else, the game will not quit boss arena and start the ending, and he will keep his pattern indefinitely until the timer runs out or you hit him 256 times, at which time he'll explode like a badnick with 100 points.

god! you played that rubbish!! i wouldnt say the best place was to stand on the far right anyways cos you kept missing him when he came down in the other thing, the best place to stand is in between where the two right hand sizzly balls fall down cos theres usually a bigger gap between em there and you can dash across to the other side more easily. good game tho, nice easy level to end on. i think labrinth is the hardest one personally.

This is the easiest boss of all 4 games. I'd say S&K using Sonic is hardest, because you have to fight metal sonic 2 times and eggman about 3 times. And wasn't Hidden Palace pointless as knuckles?
