    Thanks for sharing!! Amazing artwork!

  • wow <3

i want to be able to do this nooooooooooooooowwwwwwwww!!!

  • JESUS TAP DANCING CHRIST YOU'RE AMAZING

  • Yes, detail tutorial pls?

From what I see/hear, you took the lineart from previous tutorial, then...???

    step 3: profit!

i assume this: new layer, underneath lineart, use brush tool for big areas (@ %60), then what looks like the smudge tool for shading? and dodge/burn to darken/lighten areas?

  • NICE ONE! Subbed ya!

  • You should make a REALLY detail tutoriaaalll :( pleeeeeeease

  • how do you blend the lips of the first one? or just how do you blend colors?? (on pS)

  • Hi! Awsome drawings. How do you manage to smooth out the linework? I mean how do you create linework thats not hard edge, which parameters do you set to this end? Also, how big are your pictures usually when you dont work with vectors, I mean jpgs. Thanks a lot! M

  • were those two like lesbian lovers or somethin?

  • omg the smudge tool and i are not friends lol you're soo good

  • This is inspiring. I sketch weird creatures a lot. But I always want to bring it into Photoshop to make it look 3d ish. It looks disastrous. I have to try. I guess you have to know all the brush and presets quite well to work it.

  • @chinaahpek Not really, you can learn them as you go. It took me a while to get as comfortable with photoshop as I am now, but there a re a lot of awesome tutorials out there.

  • GREAT WORK ,

    About me no way !!

i cant spend my time for this work !! but its AWESOME

Thanks for sharing and its Great ...Great Job

    :)

  • @tverskoe Thank you!!

  • that's just great! Also like the smudge tool

  • @NeverMind353 ^_^ Thanks!

  • what program are you painting on :)?

  • Adobe Photoshop CS3 for the colors, Illustrator for the lines

  • Question! At 5:55 What tool were you using to "tweak" the edges to make it wispy?

  • Smudge tool, my one true love :)

  • Outside of videos made by my teachers, this is one of the most helpful Illustrator speedpaints/how-tos that I've found. You're also one of the few people who have verbally encouraged others to use hot keys in their videos, mad props to you, girl!

  • Thanks! I'm so glad you think so!

  • I love this! So pretty! Are you able to color like that on illustrator? Is Photoshop Elements able to do this? (if you know) :)

  • Thank you :) It's difficult to blend like that in illustrator, but a lot of people try to achieve similar looks with vexel art. I've never used Elements, so unfortunately I can't say. If it has a brush tool, then you should be in business.

  • This is really awesome!!! Great Job!

  • Thanks!!

  • Hi

How do you paint, just on other layers? or you said you started by how you flattened out the colors of the paintbrush.... what does this mean and how do you do this?

    Thanks!

  • I "flatted" out the colors - not a word at all, but basically it means that before I started the video, I used a large hard brush to color in the flat base colors before I started shading. You can also use the lasso tool to select the large areas of color to fill in the flat colors.

You want to create a new layer for each color so that you can preserve the transparency and color over it with shadows and highlights and not go out of your lines or run over another color.

  • this was so helpful. I would very much like to see the photoshop tutorial for this!

  • awesome!!!!

  • Thanks!

  • you can also change brush sizes with [ and ] on both mac and windows so you don't have to bring up the box over and over thanks for the video!

  • Thanks :) I use a lot of shortcuts when I'm not recording, but when I first started making videos, I tried to do operations manually (when I remembered) so that people could tell when I was changing my brush size or texture, switching tools and whatnot. I sped this one up so ridiculously that it doesn't matter anyway, though! I've mentioned shortcuts a few times in my newer videos, but I'm thinking of doing one featuring shortcuts and time saving tips.

  • you paint with a Digital paincel, or with the mouse ??????!!! , I want paint like that, I and drawing rithg now, maybe you can paint one of my sketch :) !

  • i think she mentioned that she used the wacon bamboo graphic tablet in the previous video.

  • umm sorry I not read , hehe I really not speak englsih, sorry :), and thanks for answer

  • Thanks for answering that, I've been a little busy ^_^ Don't worry about it Ziex2, ask away. Your English is great.

  • That's awesome! I wish I had those skills. :D

  • Wow, that's amazing!!!! I'm blown away *_*

I'll check out your deivantart I go there too!! Beautiful work ^^

  • Oh and I love how you used the smudge tool to make the strands of hair, that's a great idea!

By the way I'm watching you on DA. My screename's Flora453 ^^

  • Sweet! Thanks so much!

  • wow

  • OMG I feel like giving up on photoshop and illustrator. This is too much to take in. >_>

  • It took a few years for me to get to this point, but if I had learned more about the shortcuts up front, I probably would have gotten better faster. Tutorials are the key!

  • Hi, that was awsome! I was wondering if you could tell me a web site with great tutorials on Illustrator. tnxs

  • Thanks! This one site websitetipsdotcom has a great collection of Illustrator tutorial links.

Just click on the Graphics link and then Adobe Illustrator.

    Good Luck!

  • Just watched ur video,

    AWESOME!!

  • Thanks :)
