If a radiused dish is used to profile the sides it would be formed to a perfect dome but the blueprints for this guitar call for a simple taper from the tail end to the neck end. The top as well is flat so the methods for forming a dome do not come into play.

the problem is the back is a perfect dome its curved in all direction not just length wise.
