This song made me think of The Great Suwa War! I thought of Suwako making a great march over the valleys of ancient Japan with her troops playing this song as they went, venturing forth towards the top of the mountains! Upon reaching the top, on an adjacent mountain, they see Kanako. A moment of Silence... Kanako sends her army into the valley below, Suwako's troops play louder, she gives the command and they all charge into the valley! This is the song of GOD SUWAKO!! A song of POWER!!

This song seems.. generic. Hearing it, i kept thinking i'd heard it before.

Nothing is more annoying than that, no matter how excellant the song is. If it fits a pre-established pattern, it is a failure in the context of Art.

It sometimes makes me sick how characters like Suwako and all can be dumbed down into moeblobs by a lot of the touhou franchise. She's said to be at odds with Cirno in fanon, for god's sake (no pun intended). CIRNO. It's songs like this that make me feel as if the character is getting a word in edgewise. "Hey, I'm a GOD." At least call me one.

Eh, Cirno and Suwako are rivals in fanon for a reason. Suwako is represented by frogs, and Cirno freezes frogs for a hobby... so in a sense, Cirno is killing Suwako's little children. Kinda. Fanon is always a for fun thing and never to be taken seriously. And fanon makes Touhou anyway, since the majority of Touhou's characters don't have a concrete personality.

Moeblobs can be cool too! For example: Matou Sakura

@Zahaele Well, in truth, "I'm a god" doesn't amount to much in Touhou. I mean, the Akis are also perfectly valid and competent gods, and look at them.

But Suwako does have a good deal of personal power apart from being a god, which is indeed the point. And somehow, being a curse god, I have this feeling she might be a lot more dangerous than her in-game bored, ditzy self appears...
