  • looks like your humping the air.. lmao

  • Gorgeous!

  • Why do I look like a retard when I do this. lol he doesn't.

  • This energized me! I think I'll do it before work, and several times per day in front of my desk!

  • Nice. Every culture I know of has similar exercises. I have seen this movement in Indonesian Tenaga Dalam, Thai dance, Irish dance, African dance and many others. It is quite beneficial, especially when the energy work and philosophy is included. Thanx for sharing.

  • Thank you!!!

  • 1:39 lol

  • I got chills !. Great practice..

  • Wow .. i have always been a spiritual person , before doing homework i deceided to do one of these forms.. and it really works ;O thank you very much ! :D

  • Thank you, so much Sensei.

  • This is a wonderful video. . so easy to follow and the woman has such a relaxing voice and says helpful things. . it's encouraging to know that these exercises can improve your health if done on a regular basis.

  • this is peace and love, thanks

  • ¿Que edad tiene este maestro y sus dolencias?Es importante saber que tambien son humanos con padecimientos, aunque los controlen y tengan mas calidad de vida por el qi gong. Por otro lado "armonía pura". Gracias.

  • Do this chi gong heals mental diesaese as well?

  • the girl creep me out .

  • commentary is freaking gay, if I may say '_'

  • the mind that translate the movement and the music and the words .... is to count.to consider

  • Thank you very much I love how the mind can grow so much with this.

  • what kuan yin has to do with qigong .___. ????

  • pretty impressive this might heal me forever

  • very powerfull

  • I will be watching this video everyday until i learn it so add to my morning exercises. This is fantastic Thank you very much.

  • the host sounds like she's on her death bed,

  • he's humping your mom

  • Excellent video.

    Thank you

  • It seems easier to the Ba Duan Jin (sometimes difficult for back pains).

  • @Criticmizer I'm wondering the same thing. It looks so calming, but I'm uneasy.

  • is chi some kind of spirit? and can Christians do this without angering God?

  • @Criticmizer Chi (or Qi) is energy or life force. Gong means "work" or "work with". So, Qigong means "to work with the life force". (This is the simplest explanation).

Some religious people may misinterpret this practice (or one such as Yoga), because they see it as some type of worship, when it is primarily practiced for health, well-being and meditation. You are not working with "spirits" or "entities", but rather the energy or life force of the universe (ie working with God-- not against).

  • @imaginationunreal ,Oh...cool...Thank you.

  • @imaginationunreal working with god? dont think so - theres no god that needs to be existed in order for you to work with your QI energies

  • @muzimuzi read my last sentence again-- i am inferring that what some call "god" is actually the life force or energy of the universe. when i say "god", i am not talking about a christian, muslim or whatever denominational entity, but rather "all there is". this of course, is a problem when using a loaded word like "god"--everyone has their own subjective idea of what "it" is.

  • @imaginationunreal Yea i suppose - i just hate it when reiligous people try to "shove" their gods into matters that has no real connection to a religous god

  • @muzimuzi oh, i totally agree. god is probably the wrong word or concept to use. it also bugs me when ignorant people think qigong or yoga or whatever is something akin to working with evil spirits or the devil or whatever thing they've made up. there's a lot of fear out there.

  • @muzimuzi While I agree with everything that was said in the continuation of the thread, I think you would need to have a little chat with a Fish about water. Then take a look at the Zero Point field info. Muzi says alot! LOL But yeah, when you mix "religion" with internal arts, people can definitely take things wrong. Nice discussion! :)

  • @Criticmizer

qi = air, breath, vapour, spirit

gong = achievement, merit, good result

there are many forms of qi. i chose one which was relevant arbitrarily. i chose gong which was translated to kung (in chi kung.) other good picks for translations of gong would be skill or technique. i recall many a kungfu movie where a master is protected by inner air. the air technique maybe?!

regarding gong being translated as "work with" i could find no references.

    my translation: happy breathing

  • much thanks for sharing :D

  • This form cultivates virtue and good character. lol I'll remember that. Relaxation might do that, I don'T think it'S a given at any time though. Good forms, bullshit narrator.

  • @havoc2055 lol

  • how can i feel the qi traveling through my body

  • do the basic first. qi is something like air flowing around your body as you practice it. i can feel it full power after 2 month practicing it. it not just depend on the movement, but largely on your breathing and flow of your movement. you must "FEEL" the qi as you move the movement, and you can "DIRECT" the qi to flow to the direction of the movement you're practicing. the video shown here is quite high level without any basic knowledge you can't really get it right.

  • Yes I agree the video made me feel better but his hand positions are hard to follow exactly as he does it. Thanks for your comments.

  • @gaslimp practice until you feel small vibrations within your muscles and inner organs, the vibrations is chi

  • @gaslimp relax every muscle completely. the more the u feel it.

  • @gaslimp remember qi is just blood flow. Qi sounds like a supernatural force with a lot of these guys but it is essentially the art of directing blood flow throughout the body.

  • @cimapro Does it mean if a person has a liver qi stagnation he actully had a liver blood stagnation? or i think i recall Blood stagnation is the advanced stage of Liver Qi stagnation

  • @cimapro its energy flow not blood flow

  • @gaslimp just listening to your body

  • @gaslimp You must wake it up, then you will feel it. Start with meditation and mindfulness and don't look for it now, it will come to you when there is no barrier in your mind. Look for the truth instead of its effects. (It is only a suggestion)

  • @mehrdad0pazooki

Or you can do it like me, while in bed clear my mind and let my body rest without moving, than enter obe state.

on the 3rd try to leave my body I opened my chakra gateways.

now I feel the heat moving and tingling... and my crown chakra and base are always there for me to use and feel.

  • @gaslimp if you are serious... I can only speak from personal experience: dissolve the course aspects of ego and stop thinking you are your thoughts. relax. continue to learn how to relax in every environment. purify body, brain, consciousness and nerves, etc. It would probably be helpful to try some of this qigong stuff as well. oh yeah, relax :P trying too hard is not relaxation :]

  • @gaslimp It is always traveling, but in imperceptible quantities. We don't feel it because we are used to it, just like you would become used to flies landing on you if they did it all day long. It simply wouldn't phase you. So, in order to "feel" it you have to increase the quantity/quality of Qi in your body so it rises in frequency. This is done by practicing Moving/Sitting/Standing meditation forms, purifying the mind and intentions through regulation and contemplation.

  • stop bickering and be grateful that we are being shared this school's mastery.

  • I agree with you. This is no place to have bad manners; unfortunately many cannot recognize a real master, when they see one. Master Li is elegant.

  • That works. very well.

I tried it together with stand still and

it is wonderful, surprising. I love it.

Also it is of a cute elegance.

    I think is very spiritual.

  • Great Video! whats the title of background sound? and where can i download or get it? its nice to have a background sound like that. while performing Qigong.

  • Namaste --- Excellent practice with great Flow... OM Shanti

  • Namaste -- lovely and graceful-- will try this per GuruS's suggestion as well. Thank you!

    OM♥Bodhi

  • It's all based on the same outcome... being like water. fluid

  • it's like a mebiusu shintai kiryuho

    kajyo tsuboi
