Basically Jamal Bryant is contradicting himself. He said that his guidance counselor made a wrong assessment of him when he failed out the 11th grade & said that he was not college material.
CONT....He then went on to say that because of his parents prayer that he went to Morehouse, Duke, Oxford, etc and the same guidance counselor that didnt think he was college material is now a member of his church.....
CONT...(and then he goes on to mention what his parents did which is pray when he "failed" indicating that Bishop Carlton Pearson "failed")…..But I look at this speech in a different way. Did Jamal fail or was the guidance counselor wrong in his assessment for speaking failure over Jamals life.
CONT... Is it possible that the parents prayed the assessment & words of the counselor off of Jamal Bryant and the counselor realized the error in judgement, repented from thinking lowly of Jamal thus becoming a member of his church.

Here's a thought. Where in the bible does it say that God loves unconditionally? I don't think you can find that. He might love in spiite of our sinful condition. From the old testament throught the new testament, Moses, every OT prophet, Jesus and every apostle listed conditions to abide in the love of God. These conditions were all performance based. John 15:9-10, Ephes. 5:1-8. If this is not correct, someone help me understand unconditional love.

It's academic. Notice the so-called preacher's response to Bishop Pearson. It's obvious christians are more hostile than the devil. Bishop Pearson is a truth leader. The panelists do not argue the facts of the bible but their beliefs. They can not see their own error.
Brian Carn was in this forum too. I do not like his methods of an unholy gospel he preaches. How many of you know there is a way to come to God. I love Bishop Pearson and lived in Tulsa during his Higher Dimension days , and Azusa Conferences. This forum was to investigate this inclusionism. I disagree with Pearson methods, but love the man. God can still use him mightly to reach people but I think Carlton will be back. God makes no mistakes. HE CAN FIX WHAT IS BROKE!!!

The reason Pearson and Gayton are relaxed is simple. They have more experience in dealing with the tangled web of theological nuances. This doctrine of inclusion is a nuance that has been hovering near the church for centuries. That's why young men must study and be well versed in the Bible, Church History, and Historical Theology (the development of Christian Theology through the Church Age). Most Pentecostal Preachers are not Historical Theologians! I know because I am a Pentecostal. Study.

Absolutely. Folks always want a way out of accountability. If everyone is going to Heaven, why is it mandatory that we live holy? Why did Christ have to die? Has anyone been to hell? If yes how did you know it was hell unless you've been before? If not, how do you know it exists? And if you are really redeemed, why should hell matter to you?... Especially when Jesus went down and got the keys to death and hades and gave them to us (jeremiah 53). You don't have to agree, however do think about what you really believe. Because if there is a judgement that the Bible talks about you too will be judged for that.
The lack of love that Bryant showed was horrid. I don't know much about him but I see that he should not have been on this panel. He is lecturing, not discussing. I don't know Bishop Bloomer but the first thing out of is mouth was we love you. I don't want to speak ill against Bryant, but he has some growing to do.

Your statement is totally based on your opinion of God only authenticated by your peronal belief, but what Christians believe to be their authenticated book of beief tells them contrary. Are you really suggesting that your individual revelation and private interpretation of God is more potent than their aunthenticated book? Are you suggesting that you are more of an expert than their authors, Paul, Peter, Moses?
You mention peace, but remember stated himself that he didn't come to bring peace but a sword. There are numerous statements in the word of God that remind us that there are those who will not enter th kingdom of heaven, that point is quite evident from the Gospels to Revelation. Of course, based on these videos & comments, the 32% Christian probably don't agree that their fellow Christian is really a Christian *wink*.
Disagreement on minor issues does not speak to the irrelevancy of Christianity. There are many learnit individuals in the scientific community who specialize in the same field but do not agree on all points. In fact there are many who enter in heated debates and even attack each others theories. That does not render the scientific field irrelevant or less important.
The fact is that the panel discussion is not ridiculous because it is referencing central and foundational tenants of christianity. You are basing your argument on statistical information and personal observation which is the true ridiculous and irrelevant issue. If you want to make a sound argument it should come from an objective analisis of what "christian beliefs" are.
Every religion has sects or variations within them such as the muslim which have the Shi'i and the Sunni, Hindus have literally hundreds of sects or variations and thats to name a few. Evangelical Christians do not differ in foundation christian tenants such as salvation only through christ. The divinity of christ etc. That is why there is such an issue with the inclusive gospel because it defies the basic tenants.
Krisnobles you also say that christians don't even know what they believe. Well the fact is that christianity is a life long learning process and everyone develops and learns at there own pace. Just because you question 1 christian and that person is unknowledgeble does not mean we all are. Inasmuch as there are many americans who don't know american history, or the bill of rights or culturally relevant topics.

@newlife8547 WE can look at it logically like this: if someone is on trial for murder and the prosecutor must convince the jury beyond a reasonable doubt that the suspect committed the crime, but every witness they call has a different story about the events, the probability that the suspect will be found guilty is slim solely because the varied accounts of all the witness offer neither proof nor the ability to draw a reasonable conclusion about the suspects guilt or innocence. No difference.
actually I like your analogy so lets take another look at it as you say logically. In a murder case witnesses do not always agree on minor issues that wind up being irrelevant to the conviction or innocense of the alleged murderer. If the witnesses all point out the same person as the murderer but one person says he was wearing a red shirt, and another says he was walking instead of running then those incongruencies become irrelevant as long as they agree on the main and central issue...
It is the same with christianity. There are some that believe in miracles, others believe the days of miracles have long past. It is not as you say that I would go to hell for not believing that. That statement alone shows me you know little about the foundational issues. That is not an issue relevant to salvation. So it would not matter how you believe either way.
To use your court analogy, your statements are like someone who comes into court to hear court proceedings after months of deliberation and court hearings and then think you can actually make a sound, objective and fair judgement of the case. The lack of presence in the previous hearings renders that persons opinions inadequate to say the least. How many churches have you been too? How many denominations? Where do you get your source on information on christianity?
How many theological lectures have you attended? What do you know about The only issues relevant to salvation in the ENTIRETY OF THE EVANGELICAL CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY (exept the inclusion gospel lol). What do you base your opinions on? Personal experience?
While I respect the Christian desire to evangelize, realistically, there is no uniformity and I don't think it's prudent to try to induct someone into a group where they will CONSISTENTLY hear that what they've been taught by person/group A (who claims Christianity) is wrong and they have to be re-inducted by person/ group B (who claims Christianity also) because the way person/group A did it will land them in a never-ending inferno. Anyone who's honest will admit that's what this has become.
See the fact of the matter is that there is only dissagreement on minor issues. And true christians are aware that differences of opinion does not affect personal salvation. wether I believe in the second coming of christ or not for example is irrelevant to my salvation as long as I believe that he is the Only way to reach it. All others are minor issues.
Also your statement is intellectually irresponsible. For example I dissagree with some scientific theories, however that does not stop me from going to a university where I know such theories will be taught. A mature person learns to accept the good and reject the "bad". You make it seem like all christians do is debate theology. If this is your impression than it is absolutely false.
In fact many christians are unaware of these doctrinal "differences" and such debates are usually held among the more learnit or scholarly of the Christian community. It is sad that one would watch videos and think they have the 401 on that particular religion.
As for uniformity, there is definitely uniformity among those that stay within their denomination. My church organization belongs to a council of churches with over 500 churches world wide. We have creeds and doctrinal statements that maintain uniformity and so do many christian denominations. Is is disconcerting to see you write about Christianity as though you have extensive overall knowledge of internal organization.
as I said earlier this issue is a MAJOR issue because it comes against the very foundational issues of christianity. It does not matter what denomination of evangelical christianity a person belongs too they tend to uphold the foundational tenants of christianity. Not so with this so called inclusive gospel and that is why it is controversial.

Here's a thought. Where in the bible does it say that God loves unconditionally? I don't think you can find that. He might love in spiite of our sinful condition. From the old testament throught the new testament, Moses, every OT prophet, Jesus and every apostle listed conditions to abide in the love of God. These conditions were all performance based. Brian Carn was in this forum too. I do not like his methods of an unholy gospel he preaches. How many of you know there is a way to come to God. I love Bishop Pearson and lived in Tulsa during his Higher Dimension days , and Azusa Conferences. This forum was to investigate this inclusionism. I disagree with Pearson methods, but love the man. The reason Pearson and Gayton are relaxed is simple. They have more experience in dealing with the tangled web of theological nuances. This doctrine of inclusion is a nuance that has been hovering near the church for centuries. That's why young men must study and be well versed in the Bible, Church History, and Historical Theology (the development of Christian Theology through the Church Age). Most Pentecostal Preachers are not Historical Theologians! I know because I am a Pentecostal. Study.

One of the things that attracts the unlearned to Carlton Pearson is that it eleviates them of the responsibility to repent of their sins and live for God. I thank God for the professor of this institution and his intellect and knowledge of the Word...and also the other speakers.

Absolutely. Folks always want a way out of accountability. If everyone is going to Heaven, why is it mandatory that we live holy? Why did Christ have to die? Has anyone been to hell? If yes how did you know it was hell unless you've been before? If not, how do you know it exists? And if you are really redeemed, why should hell matter to you?... Especially when Jesus went down and got the keys to death and hades and gave them to us (jeremiah 53). You don't have to agree, however do think about what you really believe. Because if there is a judgement that the Bible talks about you too will be judged for that.

Your statement is totally based on your opinion of God only authenticated by your peronal belief, but what Christians believe to be their authenticated book of beief tells them contrary. Are you really suggesting that your individual revelation and private interpretation of God is more potent than their aunthenticated book? You mention peace, but remember stated himself that he didn't come to bring peace but a sword. There are numerous statements in the word of God that remind us that there are those who will not enter th kingdom of heaven, that point is quite evident from the Gospels to Revelation. Otherwise repentance would not be a recurring theme. It's not if someone doesn't convert to Christianity, iit is if someone doen't CHOOSE to live under His tutilege.

I have less scholarly credentials than you without the Moorehouse, Oxford, etc. You are attacking and the scholars were both gracious to each other." Point being that it's ridiculous to sit up here and have panel discussions about doctrine when the fact is that "Christians" don't even know what they believe; or at least they can't come to a consensus. One book and 1,000 different sects. Next stat: 32% of the world is Christian and that number is decreasing. 19% is Muslim and that number is increasing. Of course, based on these videos & comments, the 32% Christian probably don't agree that their fellow Christian is really a Christian *wink*.

Disagreement on minor issues does not speak to the irrelevancy of Christianity. There are many learnit individuals in the scientific community who specialize in the same field but do not agree on all points. In fact there are many who enter in heated debates and even attack each others theories. That does not render the scientific field irrelevant or less important.

Every religion has sects or variations within them such as the muslim which have the Shi'i and the Sunni, Hindus have literally hundreds of sects or variations and thats to name a few. Evangelical Christians do not differ in foundation christian tenants such as salvation only through christ. The divinity of christ etc. That is why there is such an issue with the inclusive gospel because it defies the basic tenants.

@newlife8547 ...what would cause he/she to want to believe when there is a very real possibility that all it will turn into is a bunch of confusion and insanity for them. That would mean that the simple act of visiting another church could very well cause them to doubt their salvation and/or walk altogether. Doesn't make sense that a belief system that teaches that if you don't believe it you'll burn in hell has over 1,000 different versions of the story.

@newlife8547 WE can look at it logically like this: if someone is on trial for murder and the prosecutor must convince the jury beyond a reasonable doubt that the suspect committed the crime, but every witness they call has a different story about the events, the probability that the suspect will be found guilty is slim solely because the varied accounts of all the witness offer neither proof nor the ability to draw a reasonable conclusion about the suspects guilt or innocence. No difference.

actually I like your analogy so lets take another look at it as you say logically. In a murder case witnesses do not always agree on minor issues that wind up being irrelevant to the conviction or innocense of the alleged murderer. If the witnesses all point out the same person as the murderer but one person says he was wearing a red shirt, and another says he was walking instead of running then those incongruencies become irrelevant as long as they agree on the main and central issue...

To use your court analogy, your statements are like someone who comes into court to hear court proceedings after months of deliberation and court hearings and then think you can actually make a sound, objective and fair judgement of the case. The lack of presence in the previous hearings renders that persons opinions inadequate to say the least. How many churches have you been too? How many denominations? While I respect the Christian desire to evangelize, realistically, there is no uniformity and I don't think it's prudent to try to induct someone into a group where they will CONSISTENTLY hear that what they've been taught by person/group A (who claims Christianity) is wrong and they have to be re-inducted by person/ group B (who claims Christianity also) because the way person/group A did it will land them in a never-ending inferno. Anyone who's honest will admit that's what this has become.

See the fact of the matter is that there is only dissagreement on minor issues. And true christians are aware that differences of opinion does not affect personal salvation. wether I believe in the second coming of christ or not for example is irrelevant to my salvation as long as I believe that he is the Only way to reach it. As for uniformity, there is definitely uniformity among those that stay within their denomination. My church organization belongs to a council of churches with over 500 churches world wide. We have creeds and doctrinal statements that maintain uniformity and so do many christian denominations. Is is disconcerting to see you write about Christianity as though you have extensive overall knowledge of internal organization.

I don't totally agree solomonii0; Bryant is playing to the crown some, but he does contribute to the conversation. Understand that no one will be able to CONVINCE C.P. that he is deceived. But V. Gayton is on the intellectual level and J.B. is more "heart-to-heart" but much more direct. Bloomer in my opinion is afraid to "take his gloves off" (no disrespect intended) with C.P., BUT he does show him love. SO there is some kind of 'balance' here...
