The snake is on wheels though. It just copies a similar motion but doesn't actually use the movement as propulsion.

I thought that the wheels were a little disappointing too... but did you see how well it moves in the water! I was expecting it to just sink and do the same think on the bottom of the pool... but that was quite impressive.

They have fins with a single thin wheel barely coming out of them. I'd assume they mimic a snakes propulsion by pushing the wheels side ways and back to move forward. Snakes are so badass. I mean I would never own one but the way they move is just so unique and interesting. I'd like to know how they kept the thing light enough to not just sink and wiggle though. The ballance issues they must have had would be very interesting to watch how they got over it.
