@oliviabodycomb I recommend you don't do it right when you get it because if they fly away from you ( because you're a stranger) they're going to possibly break their bones and well.. pass away. Because i just got my finches yesterday, and one of them flew out of the box, but i was able to save it in less than 5 minutes.
dont worry i wont i dont even let them out anymore in outside aviary
