Like bgaddy, I love every era of Rush. It is great to listen to 2112 and then presto or moving pictures then power windows. They are all different yet the nucleus of excellent musicianship and song writing stays the same. Rush grew with the times. People change and strive for a little more in their professional and private life and that is why Rush is still together. They are still making new music because one member isn't stuck at the working man era or Tom sawyer era or even the roll the bone

I dont get why everyone's hating on this song... It's still Rush. They seem to have moved along with the times making their stamp on music, rather being stuck in a rut of making the same old stuff over and over like so many other bands... I think any Rush is good Rush. :)

I just meant that I personally like how Rush have changed their music subtly over the years while still being fundamentally the same band they always have been & will always be. You listen to a Rush song and go, "Oh yeah, that's Rush" but you'd be able to say when it was made without having to know the album it's on. You look at other classic bands ac/dc, motorhead (Not hating on them either) and it's all kinda the same. it's personal taste isn't it? This is mine.

Actually, I think many of the fans have stayed. Those albums went gold or better because they also appealed to nonfans. I will say there are some fans who stay rooted in their old music, but many have stayed with them (or at least left for a while, then came back). Although I will say that there aren't many fans who like every era. Some like the heavy metal era, or the prog. rock era, or the 80's era, or the current era best.

Am I glad this was NOT the last thing I heard from Rush. Cause it's definitively not their bet. My Dad said, listen THIS is RUSH. One of the Best in the World. And I was: Dad? Really? Why are we listening to this? That was until I heard La Villa Strangiato. If I had listened to the entire album: "Roll The Bones" I would have probably never listened to Rush again. There's an important lesson there kids. Give people a chance. You might be swept away.
