  • Do you have any interest in Blue Racers? They are native to my state and I think some of the blue coloring is about as neat looking as any venomous snake depending in the specimen. The blue coloring is very unique. I was wondering if they have any relation to venemous snakes...

  • @CMink7777 Not really.

  • you sir, have very big balls.

  • Do u have a coral snakes?

  • @suzymuch01 No, A/V is difficult to come-by and they don't do well in captivity.

  • Beautiful green mamba!

  • '' thats a good mamba''

    '' super cool mamba''

    - Awesome stuff, was laughing a lot from your video. Beautiful snake

  • I love your reparte' with the beautiful beasties, you are one of a kind Al keep on keepin on bro.You are a plewasure to watch and an inspiration man.

  • I wouldn't want to be the next in line to feed these or handle them after you ticked them off. They have nice coloration but I like them when they aren't mad. Just being themselves. Do they fill up with air to keep from being crushed. Or do they deflate longer for the rush of air to scare you away. And if that is so. Why does everything in nature not obey the hissing sounds and instead are attracted to it. I always like the coloration of giboon vipers myself. Just me though.

  • It's spelled Gaboon

  • I looked it up and it was spelled this way. Or my memory is so short that it gone before I can remember it. But remembering when I was a kid and was trying to pronounce it I was pronouncing it different. So when I typed it in I looked at it quizzically and then looked it up. Give my apologies to Darth and Gabby. And tell them they look beautiful. Love their hypnotic patterns. Again apologies.

  • Will he not drink from a water dish Al? I have noticed you squeeze feed many of your snakes via the bottle, why is it needed I wonder. Cheers & keep the vids coming.

  • Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. I don't press the issue.

  • In ur opinion. If a king cobra, got into with a ferdelance "lance head" who would u put ur money on, who's for supper?

  • Not sure anything would happen. Kings are very particular on which they dine.

  • " spot is a cool snake and likes to drink"

sounds like my kind of snake.lol. you got some beutiful animals.

  • Night Adder is a nasty little bitch for sure!

  • How do you know if you get envenomated?

  • It's more like figuring out if you didn't get envenomated.

  • Lol

  • Fascinating snake!

  • Your green mamba is beautiful but you couldn't get me within a hundred yards of one.

  • shes beautiful, your very brave

  • Or very crazy

  • You surely are crazy:D! By the way, are you trying the breeding or something?

  • Yes, I have breeding projects ongoing

  • Hey Al ... thanks for putting all these most informative videos up for us all to learn from. I absolutely HATED snakes until your videos made them so interesting to me. I mean I am not going to run out and get a few but I have to watch every one of your videos and there are so many wannabes out there putting out videos who think what they say is law and you know some of it is simply not true. I will continue to get my facts from you. Thanks again!

  • That's great!

  • that was an amazing green color on that first one.. very beautiful :D

  • Thanks :-)

Always try to make the specimen feel safe but not to the point it compromises your safety.

I will get arounf to do a "Table top" with the Urutu. They are very very HOT and will cause death. They have no sense of humor but are not as flighty as Asper or Atrox.

  • do you still have your king cobra and if so you should put more videos of it up just wondered

  • The King has left the building.

  • He Died?

  • No..I said left the room , not left the planet.

  • Lol,Then What Do You Mean By "He Left The Room"

  • He is at a Zoo

  • Oh,Lol,Is He Too Dangerous To Be At Your House

  • No... You're annoying me with this worthless bunch of questions...

  • Why do you capitalize every word?

  • Because I can.

  • Right on.

  • Beautiful snakes!

  • send two black mambas to bosnia...

  • Oh, Al ! - You are a really talented story book writer. Hollywood should have already connected you less for a consulting job. (Rec.: Better National Geographics orders you for a real truthfuly snake documentary.) The close front shot of Big Green Mamba, very impressive... and this bothrops, so nice. Funny. Puffies are the workers class, hm... ?? - So noisy, not cool at all. Haha... - Thank's ! - JayAr.

  • What's with a beauty contest, females and males, Al ?? - The Green Elegant one might win it, no doubt. ;-) - JayAr.

  • Tss..... Gaby, reall wasn't Lady-like in this clip. She had some better days front the camera (*laugh*) - JayAr.

  • how big is ur western green mamba

  • About 7 feet (2.1M)

  • Wow Green mamba, haa mamba is my moms nickname, I like what you do very cool. i have a corn snake.

  • another good one viperkeeper, keep it up and stay safe, merry christmas

  • Thanks! Same to you :-)

  • Thanks for the additional bothrops vid. It's amazing just how much their heads resemble that of something from the agkistrodon complex. Very pretty snake and great video.

  • Nice video as always. By the way when are you going to get another vid. of the water cobras.

  • I have a back log of videos of many snakes, just takes time...

  • Water cobras ?? - That sounds very interesting. Cobra feeded in pool, maybe. - You'd need an editor for your lot of video material ?? - Waiting for your next publishings... JayAr.

  • that is the niset snake in the world it realy is beautiful

  • Al,

After watching the Mamba drink, would it be possible to train or teach them to drink from a rodent hanging bottle? Just press their snout against the stainless steel ball. It then could be mounted in the cage, and they could get water when they want, and you wouldn't have to have your hand 6 inches from Mamba fangs!

  • I already tried that with mixed results.

  • Awesome snakes as usual. I really liked Bothrops Ultranotaus (sp?). The "spade" patterning and colors were fantastic, even if the temper leaves a bit to be desired.

  • Bothrops alternatus is the correct designation although because their bad disposition they sometimes should be called Bothrops ultra-anus

  • I cannot express enough how much I enjoy your videos. I love snakes, I have three of my own (not hot), but I've always loved hot snakes as well, but can't have any. Your videos are very educational, and I love that you can tell how much you respect and love them and what you do. Thank you for sharing, I hope there will be plenty more to come.

  • Thanks :-)

  • that funny i was like hey that looks like a hog nose and then u said it lol

    great herps think alike lol

  • Correction: It was TE's demonic female that bit Joe, which in turn was dry like you said. =p

  • Thanks Joe...see all of the D. viridis are demonic

  • liked the Causus.

  • Ah Viridis, one of my faves definitely, they are stunningly beautiful, the patterning and colours are just stunning!

  • gorgeous viridis AL!nice Bothrops too

  • Just love D.viridis, they remind me abit of my D.jamesoni.kaimosae pair. Big skales surrounding with black. My pair has a black tail tho. :)

Thanks you again Al for sharing!

  • Awesome green mamba, madly beautiful and yet deadly!

    Happy holiday Al.

  • Vid Mr*

    Vis my? wtf haha :P

  • How are little red and the naja naja doing? Raj I think you were calling him? I love the different animals' personalities like Gabbby. She seems docile most of the time, but yet she struck at you recently. Your Elapid collection seems to be growing too. It is nice to see a variety of snakes. Thanks for your videos AL.

  • im guessing this room is in your house... if your married i bet the wife has a mini gun up stairs LOL

  • No, They are in a different building on the property.

  • Really bodacious vid, Al! Exactly how common are Night Adders?? I had'nt heard of one until your recent videos.

  • Fairly common. There are 4-5 species in the Genera

  • Awesome snakes !

  • OMG she is gorgeous!! I love the black trim on her scales. Ma nature sure has a great eye for colors. Congrats on the promising first contact. Wow talk about attitude that night adder has enough for two snakes. Hi to Gabby and Spot.

  • Gabby is such a spoiled little girl!

  • Gabby's HUGE.

  • Another great set of video clips...those mambas are truly very fascinating (but obviously dangerous) snakes.
