  • HANK JR. FOR PRESIDENT!

  • AWESOME!!! I love Bocephus..the interview part was so sincere..GREAT video!

  • Wow, Seldom see him without a beard.

  • this world needs more people like hank jr.

  • I saw Hank at Chicago Fest in 1980. He arrived a few hours late due to one of his semis breaking down but he put on a great show. He threw his bow into the crowd and momentarily I had it but eventually it was broken into several pieces by the vultures in the area.

  • this is awesome

  • Glad to hear Bocephus give the nod to Muscle Shoals,..(actually,it's Florence),,we do claim W.C. Handy (Father of the Blues) AND Sam Phillips,(Founder of Rock-N-Roll),,both born in Florence,Alabama. Come see why Lil Richard is still selling out shows in England. Muscle Shoals,Al. Rare clip and thank you.

  • glad he got off his daddy's coat tails and did his own thing....

  • He looks pretty cute without the beard , I don't usually pay much attention to scars much. He looked pretty young there .not that he's old.

  • that 15 seconds of "old habits" was probably the best 15 seconds of my life... my fav hank song of all time.. and that was amazing.. that killed the studio version and the studio version is awesome.. thanks for that.. insane

  • @MrGjonesfan -theres a video on youtube of an old live recording of old habits. I bet youd like that for sure!

  • Such a treasure for not only Hank, but the south

  • Thanks for this! Post all this old footage you can find. Thanks again!

  • Thx again for posting this, I hope you leave it posted. I've watched it many times already... Old footage like this is awesome to view.... I wish someone had recorded him singing the whole song of Midnight Rider during this show. It sounded awesome.

  • Awesome story .... i think it's Fantastic! thanks 4 posting the footage ....

  • yall alt to put some of his 1974 75 videos up here with a mustashe and sideburns he sounded great then his vioce was low and he looked cool like this video i know he did concerts back then in that time so has to be some u can find some were thnks 100%

  • o my gosh yall i also thought since fell fell off the mountain he covered his scares with the beard but i guess he only did that for a short period of time then they must have healed

  • This is amazing....wish there was more of the show but still cool nonetheless

  • This is fantastic. Awesome footage!!!

  • This is so cool...He don't look a whole lot different, except for the beard missing...Thanks

  • I wish I had more footage, but this is the only story we did with Hank. Thanks for all the compliments.

  • @realworldfilmvault Where in Montgomery was this concert? I tried to watch and recognize something in the background, but couldnt.

  • @Eagleclaw72

At a place called Jackson Lake on the 4th of July. I was there and I found myself an my girlriend on the video at about the 4:40 mark. She is the drunk chick who keeps pulling up her top.

  • @dbrown30071 Ha. I see her. I know where Jackson Lake is. I never knew they had any concerts out there "way back in the day". Have you seen it since they filmed the movies 'Big Fish' and 'Dead Birds' there? They have it closed to the public now but some cool buildings that they built for the movies are still there.

  • Great STuff, Thanks!! anymore?

  • 35 years ago today bocephus fell off that mountain.

  • Great video! Don't sell yourself short! :) This is "new" footage for most Hank fans, and I for one, appreciate it very much!

  • This is freakin' awesome footage
