In 1978 my great friend Bob Fraser(RIP) came my home and with "Darkness at the Edge of Town" and ordained it one the greatest albums in history. i was skeptical ,i was deep into Punk at the time, but gave it a listen, and guess what "Darkness at The Edge of Town" is a Masterpiecel And i rate "Promised Land' one the greatest ever songs ever written. Darkness is my favourite Bruce album and the new box set is incredible. This is probably my favourite song off the album and the performance here is absolutely KILLER!
