  • The TV commercial for this game was very much out of this world. With simulated lasers and science fiction background music....Cant seem to find it on You Tube though.

  • Wow, makes me wonder if I ever saw that; probably not.

The only one I could find is where they load Laser Attack along with a few other games onto a truck, and that's it.

  • lol at 0:18, that was funny! You:Cat not included Me: Awe Man! -Bradley

  • Better luck next time, maybe? ;)

  • When I bought mine, there was a cat inside!

  • Heh, how about that! Best $2.50 I ever spent, with an obscure game AND a cat together!

  • The pieces were definitely the best thing about it; it did look cool when the laser lit on a pod.

But special effects aside, it wasn't hugely interesting to play, and like a lot of other games, the more players you have, the better it is. I remember having it, playing it a lot for a brief period, and then going back to Strat-O-Matic baseball, or something...but I could play Sorry for hours.

My guess is if you played it with a normal spinner, like you suggested, and some tiddleywinks...yawn.

  • Heh, yeah, it's an opinion. I think it's a cool game. The pieces were awesome! And you definitely needed three to four players for it, which you can't always scrounge up.

  • Nice review mate.

I'm pretty sure the mA is milliamps so 270mA= 0.27A, but Chu has already mentioned it's OK to use :)

  • Heh!

Thanks for the compliment and taking the time to check it out, as I'm sure you're behind in things :)

  • This game looks really fun, for back in those days I'll say this game was built surely ahead of its time, because they just came out with Electronic Monopoly. Nowadays a game like this would cost at least $50.00 bucks. Awesome clip Darryl I will definitely look for this game. Thanks for sharing :D

  • Well, you'd have to FIND a buyer for it; if you have a Chase the Chuckwagon account, like I said in the video, a guy was selling it a few weeks ago, for only $5, although shipping was $12 or $16 or something...well less than half of what you said. He relisted it since it went without a buyer.

But yes, it's very fun, and it was bad timing to get it out, since now the nephew's off to school and isn't here as often!! (argh)

  • Kind of neat, I like the pieces.........

  • Yeah, exactly. Those pieces were the coolest!

  • Thanks for the compliment! ("Board James" though?)

Also thanks for letting me know the deal about the bulbs, I'm obviously ignorant about that kind of thing. Nice to learn something new too!

Yeah, it's a fun game, especially with three or four players, only two is like...well, not quite as bad as only two players in Monopoly, but I'm sure you get my drift.

  • Neat game. I vaguely remember this. The 70's had some really cool board games.

  • Yes indeed!

Thanks for taking the time to check it out.

  • Yep, thanks. Still can't believe there's almost no information about it on the net though!
