  • If you want my thoughts (In which case only 99.9% of the internet doesn't care, and the other .01% are too busy fisting a goat) of each decade, it goes as followed

1950s: Good: TV, Rock N' Roll. Bad: The Cold War.

1960s: Good: Star Trek, Woodstock, Moon Landings. Bad: Cuba Missile Crisis.

1970s: Good: Star Wars, Sitcoms. Bad: Vietnam War

  • @SmilingProtoss (cont.)

1980s Good: Action Movies, Thrash Metal, Video Games. The Bad: Chernobyl

1990s Good: Grunge, Internet, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Beavis and Butthead The Bad: Rodney King Riots, Columbine.

2000s: Good: Napoleon Dynamite, Battlestar Galactica Bad: 9/11, George W. Bush, Fallout Boy, Taylor Swift.

2010s (so far) Good: Beavis and Butthead are back, Napoleon Dynamite returns, and some games like MK9 and Rage. Bad: Obama, Justin Beiber, Taylor Swift still.

  • @STARTANGELO As you said, the people who think that everything new is good and everything old sucks are in VERY small numbers, so they can't possibly be as annoying as nostalgiatards because nostalgiatards pretty much take up the entire Internet. The 'moderntards' are actually unique, making the Internet more fresh.

    Trolls > Nostalgiatards

  • i think that there is actually Something Worse than Nostalgiatards, Its The people who think everything today is good and everything old sucks. Though these people are in small numbers, they can get VERY Annoying sometimes.

Also, i have to agree with you, Despite having grown up in the 2000's I like stuff from the 80's and 90's as much as i like stuff from the 2000's.

  • I completely agree. Nostalgiatards are lower than trolls imo because there's so many of them.

  • You are wrong TV 2012 does suck. The most popular guy running for president is a fucking tool and the 2nd most popular which everyone seems to loves is a moron. The 90's were better if no third party guy comes.

  • @CAPWEY I dunno if I was supposed to take this seriously or just giggle in the corner.

  • @Cyberwolf087 It was just a joke. Other than the people we have to support for president in 2012, 2000's are not bad. Sorry if I came off as serious.

  • @CAPWEY

    Aw, it's okay. =D

    (pets back)

  • Cont.

They're wouldn't be any new videogames or awesome stuff that game after it. Like for instance, we wouldn't have had Ratchet and Clank, Rayman, Rocko's Modern Life, many others during the 90s and other decades. And what's even funnier is that the shows like G.I. Joe or the Smurfs were not made until the 60s so that should have gotten credited where credit is due. This video is speakin my word and I thank you for that Wolf :D

  • @JojoMonReturns91 Glad to see that. This whole "nostalgia" thing wasn't really a big part of my life to begin with, but I can easily tell that it's been quite an issue over the Internet to the point where I get easily tempted into posting replies to the comments that he showed in screenshots that agree with the people who long for how life was like in the distant past so I could "fit in" with them for the possible sake of being at least as classy and sophisticated as them.

  • @SonicFamilyGal Missy you have read my mind there. Nostalgia wasn't really part of my quota of my childhood to begin with, sure I had fun watching good stuff in the past, but I also enjoy the new stuff that has been happening lately so I am thankful for that. It's just the fact I can't handle people trying to say "oh we need the 80s to come back" or "80s anime rules screw all other anime." It just doesn't sound right at all and shows that alot of people don't think and don't move on.

  • @JojoMonReturns91 Some people need to realize that like Cyberwolf stated that other eras wern't bad as people would have thought. Even the early 2000s and such brought good things as well so I wouldn't bash on it like Nostalgia Critic/Douglas Walker right then and there. For me, my motto is that being with your family, having a good life and accepting new things is pretty much a wonderful gift to have not Nostalgia. Sure you can remember both good/bad, but also move on with life and learn. :)

  • I can actually connect with you Mr. Wolf. I mean, people sometimes say that the 80s were the best decade in EVOR. But they forgot one thing that people don't know at this point. That is "No Decade is Perfect." So the 80s and/or 90s as you have said should be respected as well and that would go with 70s, 60s, 50s, 40s, and 30s and past decades. I hate people who say that "anime in the 80s were better than everything else now" because they haven't realized how that without the other eras........

  • Top 5 most annoying people on YouTube:

    5. People who ask for thumbs up/make dislike bar jokes

    4. Fred

    3. Justin Bieber's fangirls AND haters

    2. Nostalgiatards

    1. Animé dub haters e.g @samboleh

  • I'm glad I watched this video, really gives me a whole new perspective on being too nostalgic

  • Well cyberwolf. we both like toy story. does it make me a nostalgatard if a have alot of old toy story, star wars and star trek stuff?

  • *clap hands*

I agree with everything you say.

  • Look up ravekidd on YouTube.

  • I see your point, hell I can be nostalgic at some points, but I did comparisons from different decades, I think the 90s or before hand had better advertising on promoting shows or TV specials which makes us watch tv often. What I like about modernday, lets see... we have more technology than in the 90's Apple Ipods, Internet Enabled Gamesystems, videosites great, but the society as I know now is falling apart, people are screwing each other up without realising, I suffer while spectating.

  • Didn't have aids in the 60s nor did we have most of americans being fatass lazy retards.. probably like yourself. Nothing personal but you probably are ,

  • @MrBrandon1452 hmm seems pretty personal to me.

  • Actually dumbass the world is getting worse as time is going on

  • @MrBrandon1452 I can easily see why someone decided to respond to this rant defending her nostalgic rights by point out the typical modern-day traumas that plenty of folks in my age group couldn't stand, but I thankfully don't pay much attention to those issues. I was easily disgusted when I had to read about those details in that response as they were mixed with misspellings. I'm sure plenty of people would agree with me that those movie making software programs really need spellcheckers.

  • yah good tv 2006, The Mealencoly of Haruhi Suzumiya

  • My bday is on Jan 15, 12, can you make a Haruhi Suzumiya rant for me on my bday please

  • Each 10 years have something good. 1910's: Good horses and guns. Texas 20's: Good econ, cars, New York 30's: Family was closer, New York 40's: Econ got better 50's: Great Econ, music, classic movies, middle states 60's: Classic cars like the 67 to 69 Camaro dude! San Fran 70's: Music, cars, Ufos, Vegas 80's: Miami, Movies, Music, Early 90's Rap, LA, Orange Sky Mid to late 90's: Cartoons, boy bands
  • "The Central Intelligence Agency owns everyone of any significance in the major media."

--William Colby, former CIA Director, cited by Dave Mcgowan, Derailing Democracy

  • Someone please tell me what the song is at 0:25-0:34

  • I saw a few nostalgia-tards on the Voltron: Defender of the Universe game trailer saying along the lines of "Stop ruining my childhood". Why not be happy that we finally got a Voltron game on next gen consoles?

  • I was born in 2000 feb 5

  • @Dantaru78 good job by giving out that you are 11 years old on a huge mainstream site. It's not like there are any pedophiles

  • @dxidaniel I'm glad you took time out of your day to write that comment, good day to you sir. :)

  • 4:24-4:28 True, T4. But what about older shows that still haven't seen a DVD release?

  • The 80s were bad because of one man. RONALD REAGAN.

Plus, the 90s were a dangerous time to live in because of all the far-right white supremacist terrorists. Like Timothy McVeigh who blew up the Oklahoma City Federal Building in 1995. I didn't know about that as a kid, but now that I know it, I've found that the 90s also had big problems.

  • @xFIRERUSHx

Jersey Shore actually first aired on December 3 2009, But I get what youre saying, It was more popular (unfortunately) in the 2010's. Thanks for pointing this out.

  • The irony is that without modern day technology such as YouTube, people wouldn't be able enjoy old stuff such as TV shows and music videos. At least in the present, you can enjoy the good stuff of today and the past.

  • No. This is all wrong. The best decade was the 1920s you kids! Back in my day we could by a hooker for just a penny and you could slap a lady's ass and she couldnt do a thing about it! Now these days with your pinball and your video box machines and your walmart! Everything passed the 1920s sucked and will continue to suck! WW2, Vietnam,...uh...VHS movies!!! Fuck all you kids! We need to make this world more like the 1920s! NOW!

  • @xFIRERUSHx Lol, that was funny.

  • I love the 90s and early to mid 2000s, mainly because of the games and tv shows, and some movies(Titan A.E. for example).Today, in terms of music and tv shows, I don't really like. There's some good music and tv shows, but then again, I prefer listening to video game music and oldies, and I prefer watching shows I've seen back in the days. Some of the movies today are good too. But I sometimes prefer old movies :P

  • The Nostalgiatards' response to the 90s: OMG HOW AWESOME!!!!

My response: The 90's weren't great: Let's see: L.A. riots, WTC bombing, Oklahoma City bombing, the gang war between the East Coast and West Coast. Yea, dangerous era back then.

  • @linearman0245 Hmm...I wonder if people who were constantly focused on the numerous modern flaws that were pointed out in the response to this video that supposedly brainwashed me into thinking that way for some strange reason is what's causing them to think that way to a certain point where they will become so paranoid that I tend to think that a lot of modern and future kids will be forcefully raised on the stuff their parents grew up with.

  • ShadowBlazeX8`s a nostalgiatard he also criticizes new shows. Gosh why are there so many nostalgiatards on YouTube and on the internet in general.

  • @TetraXenon999 Hmm...I guess it's partially because of how paranoid they've felt about children over the past decade or so. Toddlers in Tiaras, anyone?

  • @SonicFamilyGal Ugh, God, don't even get me started about that show haha. xD

  • @GmodCaboose56 Speaking of which, I'm sure dressing modestly (which definitely go as far as swimwear and Halloween costumes are concerned) are one think that plenty of folks in my age group are currently waxing nostalgically for, especially since I can tell why they tend to strongly agree with dress code guidelines that require covering certain parts of the body besides just a certain percentage of it for obvious reasons.

  • i really hate people say kids are gay on the internet for liking fanboy and chum chum. some are on there to just have fun you know not causing trouble. then you got this nostalgiatard who says oh you faggot fanboy and chum chum is shit. you should watch Doug or some crap like that. Main point is let a kid like what he likes

  • also, i REALY enjoy nostalgic decades for NOSTALGIC reasons, hey arnold, things like that, that were good then, but again we cant live in the past, we have to move forward. if we stayed in the ninteys i wouldnt be born. and all us nintendo f4nb01s wouldnt have 3d zelda. (point and case.)

  • remember the skype panel we did once? with that troll bill? i was zar, my name says shotguhn now.

  • T4! PLEASE! Come back to us!

  • Fuckin love the 90s!!

  • I loved the 90's Music and 80's Music. I will remember the games I played during the 90's and 2000's as well but everything evolves. We all have to deal with it.

  • Are u dead cyberwolf?

  • I forget the name of the first song, anyone know it?

  • whew for a second i thought there was a screamer in the end *8)

  • and i watch my old shows on youtube forgot about that :)

  • i used to hate the new nick cartoon network and disney intill i got direct tv and now i watch boomerang nicktoons network at night teenick at night and other stations and i listen to my mp3 and i listen to the stations like100.3 9.87 9.71 10.21 10.37 and 9.25 and i just move along with my nostalgia i still hate todays disney and i do miss the 90s but i just move on and enjoy my life. :)

  • @earthrose93 It's a bit of the same for me. Since he obviously mentioned certain pros and cons for the historic decades he mentioned, I bet some folks aren't even suprised that Parisians complained about the Eiffel Tower "ruining" the city when it was built, but it eventually became an iconic landmark which still is to this day!

  • yeah the last 10 years were great, we had 9/11, George W. Bush, the war in Iraq, even small events like the Virginia Tech Massacre, but hey they had good movies and the X-Box :D

  • Nostalgiatards.... for the 90's, THERE ARE SOME THINGS from THAT DECADE that shouldn't be remembered.

  • People today are often closed minded

Scaredy is getting dissed despite the fact it's mildly better than what we've gotten from Canada in the past

Basically, People have stubbornly have given themselves expectations for anything to be at their "standard" since the '90s

Even though i'm an retro person, I'm not like them

I don't gush for a revival of Crystal Pepsi or stupid shit like that

basically, Fuck public opinion and think for yourselves

Give Scaredy the love and attention he needs

  • @Kitsuneranger Me neither. I usually prefer enjoying a healthy balance of things from both past and present times. Well...now that T4 mentioned about how those so-called "nostalgiatards" feel extremely paranoid about a possibly apocalyptic future, especially for children, I don't mean to make anyone cringe or something, but I'm starting to wonder if the fateful death of Jonbenet Ramsey in the late 90s caused people to feel that way.

  • The best decades I would say are the 50s-early 90s in terms of music, 50s-2005 in terms of movies, 50s-early 2000s in terms of shows, 70s-present in terms of games.

No thanks to the 2010s because of the shit economy, shit music, shit movies (almost all of them today are shit), the ongoing erosion of our civil liberties, etc.

  • @RickyCaldwellXFlame :I going to tell you something.WOULD YOU STOP SAYING EVERYTHING SUCKS THESE DAYS AND I'M DOING A RANT ON PEOPLE THAT SAID EVERYTHING SUCKS THESE DAYS.

  • @amarie316 I said the 2010s already suck because the economy is still shit, almost every movie released now are no different, the modern-day music of today has been totally used to brainwash the masses by means of such so-called "pop" artists like Lady Gaga, Ke$ha, Justin Bieber, Hannah Montana, etc., and now we are on the verge of World War III when Israel, the US, and Europe attacks Iran, and Russia and China will help Iran.

  • The only thing I hate from this gen is dubstep and live action movies based on old cartoons.

  • The early 2000s were not so great but I loved the mid late 2000s

Oh and about 1999 the year of the columbine massacre, what a great way to finish off a decade :l

  • I bet some of these nostalga people will think that the futur is the next rapture.

  • Great rant dude. I agree with you 100%, I hate the people who complain about music. saying "OMG POP MUSAK SUX SO ALL MUSIX NOW SAUKS 80'S MUSIC FOR TEH WAHN".

Seriously?, your comparing these kinds of music. Its comparing apples to oranges. And stop focusing on pop crap, I used to think that all 2000's music sucked. Then I started listening to people like deadmau5 and I found music that I like.

  • 90s good todays beter

  • There are good time and there are sure as hell bad times.

  • I saw a nostalgia video on youtube and I always made sure to skip em.I just try to call writers on their lazyness so they'll be forced to work harder.By the way I agree with what you said.

  • Great vid wolf. For me I find that there's a lack in quality in consumer products on the on going years

  • awesome

  • I basicly like all the decades because each one has something special to offer, none are all perfect, they all have there pros and cons

  • @Tylerwaffleblue Examples of your Point are:

50's: Pros: Elvis and Sputnik Cons: Nuclear Bombs

60's Pros: The Beatles and MLK Jr. Cons: JFK Assassination

70's Pros: Classic Rock and Disco Cons: Oil Crisis

80's Pros: Destruction of Berlin Wall and Mario Cons: Destruction of Challenger

90's Pros: Internet Cons: Rise of Mediocre Pop Music

2000's Pros: Founding of Youtube and iPhones Cons: 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina

2010's Pros: New Technology and MLP Cons: Earthquakes and Bieber

  • BTW, we are not recovering because GDP is BS stat and "recovery" is just the FED paving it over with inflation which will create Destruction of the Dollar

  • i thought when you said nostalgiatards were nostalgia critic fans :P

  • The Game Overthinker is a nostalgiatard. And a Nintendrone. And a weeaboo.

  • I love the 90s, but I also love the 2000s. And the 2010s will probably have a lot of emphasis on the 90s like the 2000s had with the 80s. After all, 90s Nickelodeon is coming back on the Teen Nick network, so I guess all that ranting (but probably more likely all the Facebook posts about old school Nickelodeon) paid off in the end. It was just a matter of time.

  • Sucks that I am a sorta Nostalgiatard for Morrowind, But We can all agree that Everything that isn't nostalgic sucks.

  • I used to hate the 2000's until I gotten over it and enjoyed most of the stuff from the last decade. The 2000's gave us the Harry Potter movies,John Cena, revived the superhero movie genre even rebooted the Batman movie franchise after the awful Batman & Robin,Spiderman movie franchise,Lord of The Rings Trilogy,PS2,Gamecube,Xbox,iPod,the Iron Man movie franchise etc. I just hate when stupid crap like Jersey Shore getting as much mainstream media attention that it's getting thanks to fangirls.

  • Things have not gotten worse. People just got better at complaining.

  • 2000's HAD AWSOME Games AND SO 2010's Are To 90's Had Cool Cartoons

  • Y'know, I skimmed through your uploads, and I think I may have a topic for you. "Bronies".

  • Bring back da Smurfs, you cocksuckers!!1 XD

  • @Naruto57195:

Let me be blunt on your statement regarding mariotehplumber:

    1. It's a troll.

    2. Don't waste your time with trolls.

    Have a nice day.

  • @Cyberwolf087 Lol didn't MarioTehPlumber Ragequit?

  • @Cyberwolf087 hey do you like afrojack since you put "take over control"?also nice rant

  • Comment removed

  • @Cyberwolf087 You should do a rant on cartoons shows turning into live action movies.

  • @Cyberwolf087 I'm a 13-year old and I like everything! I like stuff from the 50s,60s,70s,80s,90s, early 2000s etc. But what pisses me off the most is when grown-ass adults are boycotting T.V studios to put their childhood shows back on! How dare they take someone else's childhood just to relive their own!! GROW UP!

  • @Cyberwolf087 I can understand replays and all but if you replace ALL of the new shows for the old show, that needs to stop

  • Well, It's good to know that you finally learned a lesson. The decades we were born in may have been good, but there are many flaws from those decades. For example, I was born in the 90's, and I had no idea about the LA riots (started by that idiot Rodney King) until about 2007. BTW, I'm curious, what year were you born?

  • 2010s is the decade wear we will probobly see a second great depretion.

  • @MasterNcognito no the economy will probably get pretty good by 2015 and you do know america has the number 1 economy in the world right

  • Ok I agree with you .

    i Have an example,

I like some of the kidd tv shows now better thenback when i was a kid and yet I still like tvshows from when I was a kid.

(Pardon my gramer and spelling Cyberwolf and every one else who has read this)

  • Hey t4, have you seen Cry Baby Lane?

  • In the 1910s, you had: World War I, Titanic/Lusitania sinking, creation of the Federal Reserve/IRS/income tax, Russian Revolution of 1917, etc.

In the Roaring 20s you had: Depression of 1920, Stock Market Crash of 1929, etc.

In the 1930s, you had: Great Depression, Reichstag fire of 1933, Hitler rise to power, Poland invasion of 1939, FDR, New Deal, etc.

In the 40s, you had: Pearl Harbor, London bombings by Nazi Germany of 1940, World War II, Japan atomic bombings of 1945, D-Day, etc.

  • 7:52 Economic recovery is just pure propaganda from the Zionist Federal Reserve just so they can deceive the American people into believing this bullshit. That data you mentioned is a falsified and manipulated government-funded economic data.

8:40 Gotta mention the African Union and the Union of South American Nations now because both are EU-based.

  • In the 2000s, you had: USS Cole bombing, 9/11, illegal Afghanistan and Iraq wars, European heat wave of 2003, Department of Homeland Security, Patriot Act, Military Commissions Act of 2006, Climategate, attempted North American Union implementation, CAFTA-DR, subprime mortgage crisis, housing crisis, Enron bankruptcy, Lehman Brothers collapse, etc.

  • In the 60s, you had: JFK assassination, Gulf of Tonkin, Vietnam War, Operation Northwoods, etc.

In the 70s, you had: Watergate scandal, Cambodia and Libya bombings, energy crisis, FEMA, Jimmy Carter, etc.

In the 80s, you had: Reagan assassination attempt, Grenada invasion, Libya bombing, Iran-Contra, REX 84, etc.

In the 90s, you had: WTC bombing of 1993, dissolving of the USSR, Ruby Ridge, Waco siege, Seattle riots of 1999, London riots of 1990, NAFTA, etc.

  • @pickelspigs I am not saying all sonic fans are nostalgiatards I'm a sonic fan but I see a lot of nostalgiatards in that fanbase just telling you

  • Hate to be like everyone else, but THANK YOU. While some of this generation's media is absolute d-bag worshipping crap (Justin Bieber, Jersey Shore, most rappers) , we've come up with some good stuff. I was born 1997 and grew up with the N64 and Gamecube, yet now own and have in my room a NES, Atari 2600, and Playstation2 (with mainly PS1 games). Same with music, movies and so on.

  • Hey u know what's a fun fact:most nostalgictards is from a certain fanbase which was bashed alot and if you didn't guess it is the sonic fanbase

  • @Simpsonsfan1011 dude I'm part of that fanbase and it gives me a bad name I like the classic and modern sonic heck I didn't even know there was a classic sonic ( yeah go ahead sue me). But, I do get what your saying but some of the sonic fanbase is sane including me.

  • Overall I like old and new stuff. However I have found way more games from older decades that I like vs. the current decade. I've had my phases where I thought there is barely anything good nowadays and that's not really true. I just focused too much on what I didn't like. I even saw a whole video podcast dedicated to talking about how much modern stuff sucked and they went into lots of different categories. For example I like Super Mario Galaxy 2 as much if not better than Super Mario 64.

  • the 2010's are bringing us the freaking 20th aniversary of Sonic

  • the 2000's brought us the harry potter movies, the lord of the rings movies, the return of comic book movies after it hit a new low in the 90's. Dark Knight, spiderman trilogy, superman, and Iron Man! Plus there was the introduction of many new technologies we didnt even dream of in the 90's. So to ppl who think the 2000's were bad...... look at this list and then say something....

  • THANK YOU for this rant. The whole nostalgiatard thing is getting really old. I was born in the late 90's and there are nostalgiatards who, if I comment on a video of favorite 90s shows and things like that saying that I like any of the show, will make fun of the fact that I was born the year that I was and say that I'm not "a true 90s kid" and that I "suck for growing up in the 2000s" O.o It's not as if I have any control over when I was born...!

  • (continued) While there were good Tv shows and movies from the 90's, There were great shows from 2000's, though sadly they were overshadowed by the more........... godawful ones like Jersey Shore. And I did see the 90's and 80's share of god-awful shows. Sure the 2000's weren't much good, but they had good things from there! It was great for you to post this.

  • @roastedcoconut3 Jersey Shore came in the 10s. Not the 00s.

  • ya know wat always sucked and wat will always suck? 4kids anime dubbings

  • @XeroReborn I wholeheartedly agree, especially since I keep mentioning that R-rated films can be educational enough to be shown in high school classes, especially since many people who have ranted about 4kids are obviously high school teenagers themselves!

  • Thank you for this T4. i thank ye for telling nostalgitards to shove it. While I grew up playing the PS2,XBOX,Gamecube, I Did rediscover old games and consoles and played them among the modern ones (you can thank the AVGN for that). I mostly dont like todays music, but there are some good artists (Bruno Mars, Linkin Park, Rhianna, Etc.) I still listen to old arists though (Nirvana, 2pac, Guns n roses, sublime, etc.) (continued)

  • Like the wii, 360, and ps3. And those are better than the older consoles of the past. And, sure we have some stupid shows nowadays, but think back. there were some stupid shows from the 2000's as well. So don't bitch about all of the innovations, and how they suck in comparison of those of the yesteryear's, Enjoy them, that's how they were intended to be. Because I know that I certainly enjoy them!

  • I agree with this rant 100%, T4. Now, me, I'm a kid who's younger childhood was in the 2000's (I'm to young to remember much past 2003). These were the years of the gamecube, dreamcast, ps2, and all the other jolly good things. I surely do miss some of the things from the earlier 2000's, but i'm not bitchin' over how the 2010's totally suck. Because they don't. Sure, our economy might be down in the 2010's, but in the 2000's, we had george bush. And look at all the innnovations we've had! (next)

  • I cant go onto a wwf attitude era video without people saying "Oh wrestling sucks now,ATTITUDE WAS THE GREATEST!"Shut up,the attitude era almost cost mcmahon the wwf.The love that era but move the fuck on.And don't even get me started on music and movies.

  • All the children of the 2000's will start bitching over the 2010's any minute now XD

  • Not ALL new things suck but alot of TV that sucked made me stop watching it all together (with a few times of usage). A decade doesnt mean good or bad, it doesnt matter when something came out, in my eyes at least

  • i like modern technology and movies such as cars 2 and thorn i also like video games from today but i also want to play video games from the past but arcades now don't have classic machines like mortal kombat

  • Lol, both eras sucked in my opinion.

  • I do think the 90's was just better overall, and that the 2000's seems to have brought more bad than good, but still, there is plenty of stuff I like from the past decade. I agree, I hate people who hate stuff just because it's recent.

  • I'm a nostalgic guy, but I don't say the decades of the past in a whole are better. I say media-wise, it was better. Not event-wise.

  • the 2000s main problem it was shitter then usual

  • Eh I think it's ok to be nostalgic, after all it was a time of your life when you thought was better, and you'll just have to sadly accept that its gone. I for one hand am sad to see Ed, Edd and Eddy go but, it was getting pretty stale after awhile. I think what the problem is, is the fact that these networks don't allow you to post shows on youtube. Thus you can't really find it anywhere other than buying DVD sets.

  • I like nostalgic and modern stuff too, like for example I don't mind remakes

Actually if someone likes Justin Bieber then they are a retard, no one can come up with a reason why he doesn't. The only good music you'll find is either underground or abroad. That's not to say the 90s were better, truthfully the fall of music started in the 90s.

I'll admit, some of my favorite cartoons came from the 2000s, mostly anime, though I still think animation in America has declined except for Pixar.

  • I like both old school and modern video games, my only problem with current state of the VG industry is that those overrated and repetitive first person shooter games more than often take attention away from other franchises like Tekken or Dragonquest, I mean would it kill them to market other genres?

  • T4, this might interest you. Times have changed and frankly for the worse. I work at a resturant and last night saw a 3 YEAR OLD KID on his moms iPhone playing Angry Birds. My Mind = Blown

  • @littlegoopyschannel What's wrong with that? Before I got my game boy I used to play some horizontal fly & shooter game on my Dad's old cell phone in the late 90s, back when cell phones were mainly used as phones instead of as a portable computer.

  • People need to grow the fuck up.There is no perfect decade.

  • It seems like with every new year things get worse and worse, there are a few good things today, but most things suck now, and will suck even more in the future. When it comes to new shows, music and games they should make the new ones better, these things now are just stale and generic but they don't need to be, they could be great, but everything is just a ''product'' now, they care more about money than actually putting hard work into a show/song.game.

  • I agree with you, The same thing with Nostalgiatards also happened in Latin America and some other continents.

  • lol at hipsters in denial

  • these people are really childish.

  • Nostalgia fuck tards (in what I am about to say, gaming nostalgia fuck tards) are always saying how bias new gamers are because they won't try out older games. Well, they won't try out newer games. Everyone needs to be open to stuff. Just because it's old, doesn't mean it's dated and not fun. And just because it's new doesn't mean it's automatically crap.

  • Same feeling here, and after the 2010s, people will miss the 2000s. You shouldn't close your mind of from today's culture, and cling onto the past forever. Be open to new things. Great rant.

  • puffyzilliam is a nostalgiatard

  • @THEANnetWork Speaking of which, since he recently ranted about soccermoms like T4 did a few years ago in his earlier years on this site, I tend to think they might be the reasons why many people in my age group have felt at least as nostalgic as old geezers over the past few years because they might think that modern and future children will no longer be as brave as lions in terms of tolerating media content in a more rightful manner and wise beyond their years as they mature.

  • @THEANnetWork Yep. That's why I did a commentary on his 90s salute video. watch?v=pZ3yjkrZDWg He's kind of like Guptill in a way with his weird fetishes for exposed midriffs with no navels and his attraction to Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi characters as well as his extreme dislike of profanity and his obsession with nostalgia.

Since I believe Guptill's been a dead horse for over a year, and people should STFU about his top 10 video because it's old news, I say move on to Puffyzillaman.

  • @THEANnetWork true but atleast it keeps many nostalgiatards on his channel and not trollin kids who likes spongebob or camp lazlo

  • The reason why i've been stuck playing old games on my emulators is because most of the mainstream games don't interest me. All we get 99 percent of the time is first person shooters they bore the fuck out of me. The only mainstream games i'm into is the Xbox Ninja Gaiden games, Devil May Cry, God of War etc.

  • I'm actually a nostalgiatard myself but i respect opinions though. i got my reasons for choosing 1990's fighting games over mainstream fighting games. in my opinion most mainstream fighting games are shit. except MVC3.

  • I'm batman....bitch

  • It's not wrong to be nostalgic every once in a while, but there's a limit and like you said not everything from the past decades was perfect. I appreciate all the good things about the 90s and early 00s but I don't go around slamming the modern age pointing out each and every one of its flaws and claiming the 90s were the "BEST EVAR!"

  • But My Little Pony sucked in the 90's

  • Grrrr, IKR?

Seeing highest rated comments about the old days is getting old now :S.

  • i think you might wanna change the thumbnail

  • YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT FUCK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU YOU SUCK DICKS NOSTALGIA IS MY LIFE FAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG I WILL KILL YOU WITH MY GUN! (lulz trollin FTW)

  • Great video, I like the kind or art style you used, especially the Justin Bieber part. And even though I like to play, and watch older things, I don't hate everything now, I mean there were bad Super Nintendo games like Bubsy and the Wizard of Oz, yet people only care about the bad things now. And you know how the Hardcore sonic fans always think that the originals will never be beaten, well I thought Colours was on par with the originals. You made a good point, and you earned a subscription!

  • The 2000's weren't that bad it could have been alot worst. I don't what they are debating about. What over tv Shows and cartoons?

  • dude nice rant i subscribed

  • I look at the 90s as being better in culture such as music and movies also kids mostly went outside for entertainment and fun. just because I like the 90s doesn't mean I hate the 2000s, too me the early 2000s had good music and I still miss certain time periods from in the 2000s

  • Yeah, all decades have pros and cons. For example, some think that anime in the 90s were the best, but there are some anime in the 2000s and present that are really good. So like you said, no decade is perfect.

  • I'm on 2004 case of the cartoon network city

  • im nostalgic for the 50's, 60's, 70's and most of the 80's, even though i wasnt born then, i was born in the 90's,but there is some stuff i like nowadays, but honestly i was just raised on the older stuff, so i am more interested in the older stuff. the only time im ever a douche about the older stuff i like is when kids dont listen to others opinion about these things and will say there stuff is the best and everything else sucks i tell them the facts.

  • people will shit on the present and praise the past, in ten years or so, he same people who talk crap about the 2000s will be singing its praises on high.

Everyone gets nostalgic, we should always dust off the old rose tinted nostalgia goggles and put them on and take a trip down memory lane every once in a while, just dont wear them all the time, its unhealthy.

  • I am actually nostalgic for the year 2007.
