Not to mention that V10 will last over 200k miles, how long do you think that I4 will last with who knows how many bars of boost? Then consider that it will take forever for a compressor that large to spool up... Not knocking on imports but come on, think before you type.

Do you know how many lbs of boost it would take to get a B series to hit 600hp? Too many fingers and toes to count. One of the Honda guys I know says the rule of thumb is 1psi=10hp, compensate for other power adders besides forced induction and you can see 30psi+ will be needed, an amount that takes forever to hit. How long do you think that would last?

But they thing that is really special about 2JZ is that the engine block is made out of cast iron instead of aluminum. Aluminum block are great, they are alot lighter and gives you better fuel economy. But they are no where near as strong as cast iron, Thats why you see alot of supra with stock bottom end pushing 700-800hp and used as daily.
