Im 43 yrs old and when I was only 8 yrs old my Dad introduced me to her and she sat me on her lap and asked me if I was good in school and what I thought of her having a crush on my Daddy...I said "I dont know"...She said "You dont know huh?"...She was the nicest and sweetest lady I ever met and she gave my sister and I two signed promo photos of her...this was 1975 and I remember it like it was yesterday...her perfume..how her eyes looked up close...the sound of her voice and her gentleness.

Me, my sister, & my best friend were shouting as loud as we could at her, but I was had a Dolly shirt on and she saw it and then started pointing, I started shakeing and crying it ment a lot to me, I guess because she saw me, I was almost 13 at the time, and I'm fixing to be 15 next month so I plan on goin back to Tennessee in May to her. But I will be heading back to Tennessee next month as well!

i went to loretta lynn's dude ranch this last summer and it was great! I was on a roadtrip and didnt even no once i was in tenesse, i was rite nexrt to the dude ranch. i love her! i love this song + all of the others!

God forbid that anybody fucks in the Disney world. Loretta was really a pioneer in her time...her 1973 hit song "The Pill" was and to this day still banned from many country radio stations. She also wrote pro women's liberation songs like this one; but addressed them to women who were "stuck" in the pre-liberation era.
