  • For its release in 1986, the filmakers dedicated the film to the victims of the Challenger disaster before the movie begins. Was this also used for international versions?

  • I agree, The Undiscovered Country is underrated

  • I really think this was the best Star Trek movie.

  • @tung2sai looking at the excellent Original Motion Picture and The undiscovered country, it is probably the best.

  • sulu is a cool guy. fixed my homophobia haha

  • my favourite ST movie! So funny!

  • "Judging by the pollution content of the air...."

  • Save the whales!

  • I disagree, this movie sparked my interest in star trek when I was a kid.

  • LOL loved the part were Spock knocked out that punk

"Are you sure it isnt time for another colorful mediphor?" XD

  • @3mustardMoNkEyS METAPHOR.

  • "The Undiscovered Country- Mediocre at best."

    Are you serious?

  • If you watch TUC more than once, the plot holes are glaring. Also, it seemed like the cast was just going through the motions. TUC was Paramount's last attempt to get money out of the aging TOS cast.

  • Who gives a shit about the behind the scenes, the movie was awesome up there with Star Trek 2.

  • The cast was way too old in 1991. It was sad to see them degraded in that movie. 25 years was too long for them to be involved in Star Trek. Star Trek 4 was the last movie in which they looked decent. It should have lasted 20 years, not 25 years.

And Star Treks 3, 4, and 1 are way better than 6.

  • @redgrant63 Mediocre? It at least needs a 7-8!

  • I didn't say it was Mediocre, CommissionerBele said that.

  • halarious

  • One of the best, along with the 2nd, 6th, and 11th.

  • Would've been a much better (and funnier movie) without so much language...but some of those lines are simply classics!

"Break up...you look like a cadet review."

  • I dunno. Hearing Spock curse was actually kinda funny.

  • FREE WILLY!!

  • spock and kirk save the whales, lol i gotta see this movie.

  • you do, its the best one out of the 6!

  • i actually quite enjoyed it despite my father saying it sucked.

  • well no offence but your father is a little messed! lol

  • People always call this "the Star Trek movie with the Whales".

    It makes me giggle ^^

  • The thing is how come loads more people don't walk in the cloacked bird of prey parked in the park. That whale chick walks in to it, how come loads of birds and stuff didnt fly in to it?

  • thats true there must be somewhere in san francisco where they could hide it better

  • A night club for straight people?

  • 0:34 hahaha

  • What's so funny about that part?

  • How he talks. They have him talking like that in futurama and family guy .Thats why I was laughing.

  • Whoever gave my comment a thumbs down is a jerk. I didn't say anything negative about the movie! They all acted like ditzes because they were in a backwards century. *rolls eyes*

  • *Insert whale song here*

  • wasn't a bad movie. Spock acted like a total ditz! lol.

  • With global warming and such being in the news today, this movie is the most applicable today or hits home as it is about man destoying messing up so bad the people of the future suffer and must repair some of the damage done today to survive.

  • WHALES.

  • This one has always been my favorite Star Trek Movie. Great Job!

  • I like when Chekov took the radiation from the USS Enterprise aircraft carrier and says "And Captain, she is the Enterprise!"Being the orginal Enterprise was destroyed in Star TREK 3!
