  • if you randomly skip forward a couple minutes at a time, it sounds like they're playing one long song. what I mean is that every one of their songs sounds identical (which means they all sound like crap).

  • I like these lads&galz!

  • Comment removed

  • It's a very unique sound :)

  • Track list: St. Peter's Day Festival - 0:26 Manner To Act - 3:38 Oh La - 6:42 Suspended in Gaffa - 11:43 Each Year - 15:28 Winter '05 - 19:13 Too Dramatic - 22:48 Ghost Under Rocks - 26:16 Run My Mouth (failed attempt) - 31:00 Run My Mouth - 31:19 Can You Tell - 35:16 Too Too Too Fast - 37:47 Dying is Fine - 42:46
  • SOUNDS A LITTLE MESSY¡.

  • SOUNDS A Ñ

  • I got great pics of the show!!

  • Kind of reminds me of Morrissey, but he has more soul in his little finger. That being said, I do like the classical feel the strings gives to their sound.

  • hooo

  • How refreshing; i can hear the bass guitar perfectly, though i could barely hear the guitar.

  • 9ce one

  • It's alright but each song, the singer sounded exactly the same as the song before.

  • It sucks

  • Hahaha Nagatomo

    Monkey's goal

  • Interesting

  • uhh... I don't know what to make of this mess. If the video's not over yet, leave this page now before you've waisted the time I took already in writing this. Peace!

  • @TheChronoWraith my feelings exactly

  • Good

  • Good

  • This is the best they could get? I can't image a party with this kind of music. I mean, it's not really my thing anyway, but I mean; it's fucking Mardi Gras. Shouldn't it be, you know, an exciting band? Wouldn't Slayer or Decapitated be a little more exiting (some people don't like thrash or tech death, but it's way more fun than this)...

  • @851852093114208513 lol, yea you would NEVER hear slayer at a party unless it was a party full of metalheads. slayer is too good for those standard parties anyhow

  • sounds the same as studio version

  • Noise Pop is really noisy. If you are noisy enough, you will be famous...xdd

  • this is good stuff

  • This band sucks. Rot in hell u gay assmotherfuckers

  • Where's the riot at? Not in their stage presence or musical performance.

  • First time hearing them. Bored as hell. They sound like a high school pop band.

  • No spam intended what so ever. But i have a channel with me and my 55 year old dad playing mw2. Its pretty original and if you guys could give it a look it would be much appreciated. :)

  • i could almost see enjoying this a lil bit, background music or whatnot, if it weren't for the singer. too many bands settle on a vocalist who tries to sound like other people who aren't good themselves. copycats of a bad act. oh well, like the mixture of instruments.

  • waduhh pake bahasa inggriss smua g ngartiee saiya......

  • Thanks a lot for uploading this! I love you! :D xD

  • NEVER TAKE THIS DOWN!

  • Could someone please type of the setlist?

  • i went 2 a ra ra riot concert yesterday u see my vids that i made him

  • love this band

  • 97 people bout to get ran over

  • "Each Year" @ 15:30

  • seeing them tomorrow!

  • just AMAZING! (:

  • if you're like me and just want to hear Can You Tell, it starts at 35:13

  • Need to see these guys live!

  • This is my first time hearing this band after a friends recommendation... I have chills down my back...

  • I was reading the comments while I waited for the vid to load... And when I saw someone commenting about a part starting at 19:30... I was like: "What the heeeck?" That's when I realized the video is 47 minutes long! AWESOME!

  • This one will never leave my ipod! Great performance.

  • @vonLeprechaun111

mind to specify what genre you're talking about?

  • i just got tickets 2 see them in brooklyn on f3b 5th im so excited omg!!!

  • Suspended in Gaffa and Can You Tell- so good.

  • my favourites songs = supended in gaffa and too too too fast

  • St. Peter's Day Festival is my favorite song by them. I love this band :)

  • @martyrdomcausespanic me 2:)!!!

  • so... what do you do at a concert like this, bob your head and tap your foot? what did i get myself into?

  • You listen.

  • I actually had a lot of fun. Their was balcony seating so I didn't have to stand on the floor and look awkward because I didn't know their songs.

  • wo0w!

    esto es increible

    me encanta!

  • ra ra riot is AMAAAAAAAAAAAZING.

  • I don't like how they modified some of the songs in the rhumb line. I liked the EP better.

  • i love them, too. i'm looking forward to see their show in my coutry = Japan...

  • My favorite songsin the album is St. Peter's day Festival (The First SOng), and Winter '05 (starting at 19:30 )

  • I No!!!!!!!!!

  • I LOVE RA RA RIOT!!!

  • I love how everyone has their own tambourine.

  • Alexandra Lawn <3 marry me.

  • Sorry, minez! :P

  • @mashikonatsu i just saw them live. im pretty sure i spent 95% of the time just watching her. i know where you're coming from haha

  • saw them at saquatch for the first time...

i will marry either of these women no questions asked

  • Amazing.

  • Allie Lawn is extremely attractive. I never thought Cello could look so good.

and Ra Ra Riot is great

  • My favorite band, ever. Saw them live a few months ago with Death Cab and Cold War Kids. Louisville, Kentucky, at The Palace.

  • me too awesome show!

  • ra ra, superb

  • what is the new song they played called? they start it around 23:00

  • Too Dramatic

  • thanks!

  • @statueunderrepair The new song at 22:50 is called "Too Dramatic" off their upcoming album entitled "The Orchard". It comes out August 24th. Can't wait!

  • I just saw them at their Birmingham, AL show and they had their audio poorly mixed. The music overpowered the lyrics for Ra Ra Riot and Matt Costa. Death Cab was just right though. Pretty amazing performance by DCFC, for sure.

  • I actually quite enjoyed Ra Ra last night at the FOX in Atlanta. Sure, they are a bit generic but they were a lot more fun than that Matt Costa guy (who I enjoyed too)

DCFC owned both of them but still.

  • LOL.

You are such a moron. Let people listen to what they want, without labeling music types for certain people like you saying "indie rock is for pussies and pretentious idiots".

To each their own. If you don't like indie, then why are you even watching this video?

  • Shoo troll, shoo. Nobody says things like that to actually draw attention to their wisdom or taste.

  • I'd say that is a great example of one of one of the most creative, eccentric, and original indie rock bands out there right now. At risk of sounding pretentious, I'd also say it's your loss that you can't appreciate this band!

Also, if you wish to talk trash, you should at least know something about your target. The girl on the left is playing a cello, not a bass.

finally, making jokes about their drummer's death is completely inappropriate, regardless of whether or not you like their music.

  • It doesn't sound bad, and even if it did it would just make it cooler man. It's okay man turn that frown upside down, be happy.

  • @gmcjetpilot its a cello not a bass. two completely different instruments both in sound and purpose. the only thing that's pretentious is your comment. being open to music isn't a crime, maybe you ought to take a good look at yourself before judging others.

  • @butterpaww

Wow you're right, it's a cello. I should know, I played in an orchestra, did you? It's not acoustic, so it threw me; I was wrong; sue me ass hole. You point it out my error like a condescending pussy, proving my point who listens to this crap. You're a coward behind the keyboard. I don't like it, OK? I have valid points; deal with it kid. I repeat the group is puerile pretentious indie crap. They need to tune their instruments and get better material. I'm a musician your not.

  • @gmcjetpilot 15 years in orchestra actually. I don't know how old you are, and I'm sure you have no idea how old i am, but there's no need to keep arguing. i stand by my statement at saying you need to judge yourself before judging others. a coward? behind a keyboard? is there any other way to validate my points to you? you're right though. you have your opinion and i have mine.

  • @butterpaww

    "15 yrs in orchestra actually."

Besides poor English, you're 23. That means you were in 3rd grade 'orchestra', age 8? LOL! You're a lying punk. I've been in drum & bugle corps, stage band, orchestra, college club bands for 33 yrs. If some one doesn't like what you like, you feel compelled to share your whiny opinion. Boy, I don't give a darn what you think about me or music. I repeat, you're a pompous ass kid throwing a tantrum. I'll judging music; deal w/ it. You lost the debate.

  • just saw them open for death cab last night, freaking amazing actually

  • @mcubeaus that rules dude

  • Yeah, they sounded better than DCFC in my opinion. I went for Matt Costa, these guys were cool. I got their CD. DCFC was too frickin' loud so it was just noise to me.

  • 12 days until they play with Death Cab, and Cold War Kids!!! I'm so excited.

  • i saw that concert this last wednesday. ITS AMAZING!! have fun!

  • OMGSH i hate you! haha jk, but wow, that will be such a n amazing concert. I am actually thinking of going out of state to see Ra Ra Riot do a show with Death Cab...Seriously though have a good time, it should be quite the show!

  • they are really good live =]

  • Ra Ra Riot live is so beyond amazing.

and the band is really sweet.

I reccommend you see this band more than once.

  • They're awesome live.. I saw them a while back at the Rickshaw Stop in SF but didn't get to make it to this show =(...... Got my tickets for them and Death Cab in Sac though... should be awesome, well, except for Death Cab lol.

  • Love Ra Ra Riot! Thanks for the great concert footage!

  • i saw them play live with Tokyo police car

    they are amazing live

    :)

  • It's police club not car.

  • you mean Tokyo Police Club

  • haha, that's greatt

  • cool song!

  • what is the order of the songs here, there are a few i don't know.

  • 15:30 in. Perfect!!!

  • different from what I'm used to:

but I really like this one! different but NICE!

    :-)))

    take care,

    h.

  • the cellist's voice is so sexy...actually, she's sexy herself

  • yeah i could watch this band play all day just cuz of her...haha

  • yeah. she's off the charts.

  • your name and your coment show your obvious lack of intelligence... 22 must be your IQ.

Nothing wrong with being gay. Plus they're not gay... it's called class and talent. So in other words, music not made for the level of people like you!!!

  • riese + showtime = AUTOWIN! hamoza cute the best

  • can't wait to see ra ra riot, cold war kids, and death cab for cutie. I can't believe they're coming to memphis, TN

  • I think I will miss this band before the Death Cab for Cuite show

  • the best!!!!

  • new song at 22:41, yay!

    "you're too dramatic ... I don't understand it ..."

  • I was there, it was a fantastic night. these guys were great as you can see!

  • Probably one of my favorite albums of last year. Great live band too. Give 'em a chance, guys.

  • 15:30 was a good song. what is it called?

  • Comment removed

  • i just saw them and they are so much better live than on CD, which is so rare for today

  • OOO! Look at your big word!

  • electric cello looks sick!

  • the stage seems very crowded 0.o

  • Ra (Re) is the Egyptian Sun God.

    :D

  • i like so much the rythem very good

  • Sweet videos!!!!! Rock on!!!!

  • fgd

  • I bet ra ra riot likes the strokes and the stooges, because those bands rock, but i don't think they would list them as their influences. this is alternative pop(contradiction i guess) and i like it just fine. Feel free to listen to what you want.

  • Wow this sucks too! incredibly trite, and pseudo-emotional!

  • now there's some music

  • Chick in blue is pretty cute.

  • they were awsome in albany

  • the light thing is so cool!

  • this is the type of video that i love it was great and entertaining great for when at the office bored you guys know what i mean.

  • First impression: Arcade Fire without personality.

  • Ah man I was going to go to this, but they didn't let anyone in under 18... :(

    Maybe next time...

  • that guys has an excellent voice.

  • 35:20 = My favorite song by them

  • Hey, great festival, Noise Pop! Festival Preview interviewed a few of the bands from this year's lineup and posted them as videos on our channel. The first interview is with Here Here. Check it out, yo. --Jessica

  • 26:15! Go for it!

  • Excellent! Really enjoy these guys.

  • brilliant

  • (continued from below) ... Like the Dave Matthews Band of indie music! hahaha.

  • the strings don't go with this style of music at all. It's like they only have those girls in the band because they're cute. Otherwise strings on every song is a bit much for this type of music. gets a little annoying.

  • love in the form of a video . <3

  • will anyone tell me how to upload long videos more than 10 min because i am getting rejection option when i upload videos more than 10 min plz do help me

  • Well they aren't the greatest band I've ever seen but they are kind of interesting and a couple of the commenters on here sound like somebody in the band once stole their lunchbox or something.

It's music fer cryin' out loud, why all the hate?

  • Comment removed

  • I doubt you could lift A brick drec4life, let alone a bag of them, let alone muster the energy in your blubberous bulk to get out of the house and hunt anyone down.

  • If you wouldn't had written the ignorant comment on "real music (rock'n'roll)" i wouldn't be telling you to shut the fuck up. But, STFU.

  • This show was amazing live ~ thank you Noise Pop for capturing it on video.

  • TDG?

  • why they called ra ra riot? it reminds me of some kind of metal band or hardcore....
