@KoeJ191 fnm was caught in motion by the mainstream, while doing their thing, while soad sorta jumped on that same motion. fnm were a major stepping stone for much 90's alt music. of course fnm had their influences too but they were more subtle, and not much in motion. funk wave they rode before the 80's, so suck it rhcp!

early soad demos sound much alike fnm. now, not that much.

i like soad, but i would choose any fnm song over any soad song. that's just my vibe though:)
