I've played this album just after The Pink Fairies "Kings of Oblivion" 1973 excellent LP... the sound of the guitar is not so different in both albums...
Thank you so much for uploading this .. reminds me leaving home for my first term at Sheffield Polytechnic in '74.....a lot more than a third of a lifetime ago !?!?
Wow. Haven't heard this for over 35 years. Reminds me of being a kid in the 70s. Hanging around some hippy dude's place listening to prog rock and blowing dope. There were some better tracks on this album, but I can't remember what they were called. Not really my type of music, but still cool.
I have this on cassett. Only problem is, that it's old and sounds like crap. It's over 30 years old. Had some Army buddies turn me on to this band. Glad to see someone else has heard of them. Thanks for posting. My buddies used to play Butter Queen, with a local German guitarist. They weren't too bad.
The best song from one the best albums ever. Adrian Gurvitz was a genius at that time, excellent songwriter, singer and lead guitarist. Sadly, in my opinion, all other music from him, is not even near "A third of a lifetime" in quality. What happened, can someone explain ?
my favourite song of the album !

Man, I had all these albums way back in the 70s. Had to get rid of many because of moving around etc. Wasn't music so muck better in the 60s and 70s!
