that's hardcore... good news is the hundred mile wilderness isn't to mountainous compared to the rest of maine, so you can probably get by without the lekis. you need your hands free to climb katahdin, so you don't use them at all, really. But definately call Leki after you get off the trail and see if they'll replace the pole.
Busted pole is a big problem.

Busted po!!, well I guess the bright side is that you won't need poles going up Big K anyway. Hope you don't need em to pitch your shelter though...
