I have an htc thunderbolt but the phone was cool at first but then sucked.. the env touch was out but NOOOO my mom said i couldnt have it so thats how i got stuch with the dare.. but yeah this phone gets boring.. amazing. the touch screen works very well, there are a ton of apps you can download, the texting keyboard works well(sometimes it can be annoying, but for the most part it works well.) The call quality is great, and pretty much everything on this phone is amazing. When i opened it, it was like looking at god and hearing him say you are my most precious creation. jk lololol yah but seriously get this phone!!!! the iphone is still the best, but the LG Dare comes pretty damn close

ya i got used to it fairly fast. The Dare is not specifically made for texting, but I do text fairly alot and im used to it and you can text faster than most phones, so ya i would still get it if i were you. Even if you text like crazy im sure you could get used to it. When i switched phones, it was a huge switch because i had a crappy lg flip phone, and half the buttons didnt even work lol so anything was better than it.
