the only time the british got hold of a STASI's "agent's "one time pad" it was a cause of cellibration and joy,
sadly when they started listerning to the broadcasts from the old DDR and decoding them,it turned out the STASI where complaning about the amount of money beening spent by the "agent" who'sone time pad the british had got hold of!
I watched a trailer to "Stasi east german secret police" on you tube at the start I heard numbers being read out
is it this woman on this machine reading out the numbers?
I guessed it was to convey secret messages to undercover agents,when did the stasi 1st start using these machines? 70er / 80er ?
I find looking at the inner german border/east germany very interesting,I know there's lots of videos in german...isn't it a shame I cant understand what it is about.i could watch them for hour
so...whats this message?

@odenskrigare
nein. das ist so gewollt.
nimm als beispiel das flieger-alphabet.
es soll einfach akustische missverständnisse bei übertragungsstörungen
möglichst ausschliessen.
lg und "nuell" :)

ah this is MAGDERBURG ANNIE! it was broadcasted from BRANDENBURG in the former DDR
i once found this when i was playing around with my girlfriends short wave radio back in 1986 and she asked me what i was listing too!

@grahamkeithtodd I lived in West Germany in the late 80s. Magdeburg Annie could be heard on AM radio sometimes.
