  • Mig hardwire is easy but fluxcore is a bitch

  • For those who are saying he sucks and isn't doing it right, post a fucking video of you doing one if its good i'll give you props if its shit, go fuck your self you idiots. tag your self in this video. other wise keep up the good work bud :), I hope wire isn't to difficult. I passed 1g 3g,4g, stick.

  • whAt the heck are you doing? All that heat from the torch is going to distort your piece. You will never pass a certification test.sure it will bend good but it doesnt mean you pass.if you have imperfections in it you will fail.doesnt your school have a band saw?they cut two slices out of the piece.cut the pieces first then put the backing plate in a vise and know the base plate off with a hammer.grind them down.bend.if u welded good u will pass

  • @Turdfurgusen1 well said mate

  • well that was a stinker

  • i really appreciate these videos

  • the welder settings just don't seem right

  • it goint to crack when you bend it?

  • when setting my mig welder i dont look at all these books for the settings. obviously everybody has there prefered settings. but generally i put it on around 100-110 Amps with 17-19Volts depending on the make of welder. then arc up on some scrap and slowly turn thw wire feed up while welding, if anybody says you cant do that, tell them to piss off lol. for DIP transfer it should start buzzing not crackling. Big balls of spatter is to much wire feed, if the wire is melting too soon not enough.

  • TOO MUCH SLAG WHEN YOUR BLOWING OFF BACKING BAR

  • dame des

  • are you make'n this up as you go along?

  • keep working hard and you wil get it. Your beads should have been overlapped a bit more to smooth out the final cap. You will get it. I have never used a backing strip for mig. We have aways welded the root pass without one. It would not pass an appearence/visual inspection but keep it up. Kudos to you for the video....

  • nice vid,shop,ok welder

  • did anyone else go to put their visor down right as he was about to start welding?

  • does this also apply to shielded metal arc welding also?

  • It came out pretty bad. wrong settings on the machine wrong angle on the handle and the weld looks way to much like a big hill, and thats bad

  • yeah ... he's right ... your 1st & 2nd cover pass beads are crowned and pointed a bit to much. Need to slow down a bit or crank up the amps to match your travel speed.

Your 3rd cover pass is real nice ... your other two are a little cold looking.

  • your voltage is too high or your amps too low, and your torch angle in relation to your work is all wrong, all that splatter makes for a shitty looking finished product.

  • lets see your work make some movies

  • @cutlassttop

id also like to see you mig weld w/o spatter

  • @AJslippery

how do you mig weld without spatter? lol your always gonna have spatter, sometimes it can be excessive, just depends on what size of wire and metal and voltage

  • @jwilson811 What shelding gas are you using? im using 85/15 ar and no splatter...

  • @cutlassttop

Go to Lulu and look up all the Welding Cert Books on there.

  • @welder8261 Hopefully you have learned by practice how to fine tune your machine and technique to the material you are welding, as I finds it varies slightly piece to piece.

  • work on keeping your hands steady, and your tip clean for less spatter,
