I cant beleive I watched this...im only 22 and I was a youngun then. This and Baywatch I actually watched on WCIU, along with other niche shows like A-Team, pensicola:Wings of Gold, Walker: Texas Ranger, In The Heat of the Night...lol. Wow, TV has failed for decades. What was I thinking.
I love the Angie Harmon bits. @:25, they decide to include a shot of her getting blinded by someone's highbeams. But I love the part at @:40 where her skirt is so short that she has to run with one hand holding it down. Classy, producers.
The highbeams part had me scratching my head and laughing all at the same time. Seriously, what the hell were they thinking when they green-lighted this show? And the length of this whole intro.. it was definitely about 1:50 too long.
@ashamartin yep they did...the same way they did with 'Baywatch'!! I like it, gr8 theme & it sets up the mood for action! At least that's how I perceived it to be.
when i saw the previews for this show i used to think this was super scary/not for kids. but now i think if a little kid watched this he/she would porably be laughing at how bad this show is.
isnt this meant to be a show about a life guard...wtf?

I loved Baywatch Nights, liked it more than Baywatch even. It was a good show back in the day.

I quite enjoyed this series. Im not really into tv series (other than battlestar gallactica), but this appealed to me.

I loved this song. The show wasn't bad in the first season, either. But that second season? Whoo, boy...

This is a long-assed credit sequence. They didn't play this every week, did they?
ashamartin 2 years ago 18
@ashamartin yep, they did. It was a gr8 song by 'The Hoff' & Lou Rawls (RIP), the opening needed work, but it's ok for its time.

@ashamartin
Yes, they did. Back in the 80's and 90's TV shows had full length songs and intros.
Pube83 9 months ago
@ashamartin Lots of hour-long shows in syndication had long-assed credits. More credits, more padding = less budget needed to fill out the hour.

@ashamartin yes they did
