Nearly ever video on youtube that is about a sorority/Fraternity has at least 2 to 4 people saying that they're a future this or that, they want to pledge this or that, and everything else....if you want it so bad then it's best that you not let anyone no about it, because your chances will be VERY slim..& most, most importantly make sure you have the grade for it too...*i am of no Greek Organization, but i am related to & know people that are & i get my knowledge about this from them..trust*
I live in Minnesota. I attend Alfred Adler Graduate school. I have called the main office and spoke with someone there and they had no idea who I should talk to. She said that she forwarded my info to the peoson that handles the Midwest region, but I never heard anything back. I have been trying to do this for almost a year now. Any help would be apprieciated.

What school do you attend? Find the graduate chapter in the area and they could help you re-activate a chapter or create a chapter. You need at least five members to activate a chapter.

To answer your questions: Yes, I am in an organization...I am a proud member of the Illustrious Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated. Scholarships are awarded for college by my sorority. You would need to research what's available,when,etc.

Start with the National Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Website. I graduated from Kent State University. And as far as SGRhos being "stuck up", well, everybody has an opinion, whether it be about SGRho, Zeta, Delta, or AKA...
You would have to make that determination for yourself. I don't you, you know you. My only advice at this time would be...if you are sincerely interested in Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated, you should begin (if you have not already done so) to read about the history. Information is available on-line. Also know that joining any organization is a life-time commitment. And that is all I will say on a public forum such as this. Good luck young lady.
I joined an organization when I was in hs, the Zeta Archonette Club, which was a hs subsidary of Z Phi B, and I was really excited to join... Until we finished our lil intake process and the girls got clique-ish and we hardly ever did any community service... I was kind of disappointed. I was looking for sisterhood and didn't get it. I'd like to join an organization in the future, but that experience made me feel like it's not worth it.
It's unfortunate that your experience as an Archonette was disappointing. But, as a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated (Cleveland Oh/Graduate Chapter), I can tell you...we truly work hard in our communities. And my personal view is that becoming a member of SGRho was a wonderful decision. Remember, if you do decide to join an organization, enhance it with your own talents and ideas...there is always room for growth! I hope this helps!
