No one smoother than sweet Lou Rawls. We, good-music lovers are losing so much talent by the early passing of so many greats. Today's garbage music is intolerable.....thank God for YouTube!!!
It's people like this that remind us to be thankful for the talent bestowed on so many, and then being granted the ability and/or wisdom to share it with all of us, making our lives, and this world, a little better in some way.
I miss the easy listening days of the 1970s/80s. We need nice, relaxing music again, not racket laden with bad language or images and that grates upon the ear.
It's such a shame that we want change as far as what we have been hearing on the air for the past 20 years. We can't blame no one but our selves for what we allow our children to listen to. I truly think we could have made a change back then and possibly still can to stand up and be accountable for our future. We our more than just old school and appreciator's of great music. We our voices that can call for change. How can we be upset for what we see and hear when we just sit back and complain

I remember we were one of the first family's in the projects to get a real stereo and my mom told us go down to the record store and buy a album i fought my four brothers and my sister but we came home with Lou Rawls Live and I was hooked every since then on Lou...I can probally sing the 80% of all his songs...my family use to hide this and the temps from me cause I would play them over,over,overover...lol Think I gonna go plat the Shadow of your Smile..hahahaha
