I'll admit, I personally enjoy the AVGN's reviews (though not as of late due to his decline in quality). That being said, I hate the fact that quite a few good games such as this and Bart Vs The Space Mutants get a lot of hate simply because he reviewed them.

This should totally be a What a Horrible Night to Have a Curse sequel from The Black Dahlia Murder. Btw, I love AVGN's review and there are pretty big flaws, but it's not a horrible game. There are lots of redeeming factors.

If you hate this game, it's because you're bitter you could never beat it. The best of all the Castlevanias, hands down. Great music, great side-scrolling game play, great weapon upgrading system. It was ahead of it's time. If nearly 9,000 ppl looked this video up or found it just to bash it, for real, get a life you bitter douches.

The Nerd made this game enjoyable for me to play since he showed me how to get through those arbitrary parts of the game...like kneeling by the lake, kneeling by the cliff so the tornado will pick you up, throwing the stake at the orbs, etc.. I'd be screwed if he didn't show me.

@tylesaintcool I figured the stake part out myself, the rest is really tough. But the way I see it: This is a really great RPG (if you can call it that). I like it when they don't tell you where to go, rather than those RPGs that are really easy cuz people are basically leading you through.
