The water's a lot cleaner than I would've imagined I have to say. An interesting point... did you notice that the gondolas are always black? An old law :)

The masks were beautiful. We had a masquerade ball for our Civil Ceremony Wedding Reception in similar masks, it was lots of fun, I felt like I was in the film Labyrinth! :)

What was the faux pas we were promised to be told in the room? :P

I can't wait to see what the Italians think of Poppycock :)
