@ImDaBrest I know exactly how you feel. A few months after I started I tried leaving my house and starting from scratch. It didn't have the same effect. It truely is the best feeling that you discribed in your comment =). Even now as updates continue to come out, the game continues to lose it's thrill, brought back for only a few moments of gameplay. Memory is truely a gift and a punishment in itself.

I miss 1.1 Alpha... That is the game I fell in love with. No hunger bar. No end. Not big variety. Alot of possibilities. Minecraft is mainstream now, and it's not the same. Even Notch has left it for Jeb to do.

This Let's Play is what got me into Minecraft, among lots of others.

I bought it and loved the hell out of it.

Then I started getting bored and had a kind of love-hate relationship with the game.

Then about 2 months ago, I screwed up installing a mod, and now Minecraft does not work.

No matter what I do, it will not work on this PC.

I guess it's a good thing. Because the next time I get another PC (custom hopefully) I will be able to play it again.

Hopefully it will be almost new to me again. :)

Looking back, I'm kind of sad of the direction minecraft went. It was a game where you set your own goals, but when they made the end and the enderdragon, and a way to "beat" the game, I felt like the game was telling me what to do. Minecraft alpha was amazing, it was a masterpiece, but now, it just doesnt feel the same.
