Hey everyone, I too am an opiate addict. I was using IV heroin everyday for over 4 years. I got on suboxone at first without insurance and had to pay $7 per pill for 90 pills per month plus Dr. fees, which cost a lot per month just to stay clean. I've since gotten great insurance which allows me to get all my suboxone for free and I have a lot of extra suboxone scripts left over. I am willing to help anybody out who wants to get clean but doesn't have the funds to do it. Send me a PM, thks

@snapnapo You can do it. It is not easy. Have gone through Percocet withdrawal cold turkey ( I know it is not the same, not as hard, but has simliar symptoms.) and know it is not easy. You honestly have to get to a point where you had enough and prepare yourself for the grueling task of recovery. You can do it!! I will be praying for you... it's not over until its over!!!

Alcohol destroyed my life to nearly a shred of salvageable existence. I have found the inner hope and mustered up the strength to sober up. Heavily scarred by my battles I understand what addiction is and I hear the withdrawals are similar to Heroin It was hell on Earth and still is very much so for many at this very moment.

For those that don't know, there is a debate being waged about weather or not addiction should be considered a disease. In my opinion it should be. If you read the new science showing addiction is carried in a persons genes and then the definition of disease you will see that it fits. It's important that we shift the paradigm from the old way of thinking to the new. Once addiction is accepted as a disease (by insurance companies and government) then addicts can get the help we need.
