The idea for the arrows and to use mind control in humanoid robotics (Honda did copy my idea for Asimo) , or to move the cursor of the mouse in the computer were mine... now watch this... if you use the squared screen with augmented reality in your cell phone or eye glasses... then you will be able to do more... I have even more ideas to implement... but this is for later... you can watch my website with the most complete Humanoid Robot list in the World in the mean time...
@christiannewswatch: No, it only reads the neural signals your brain emits (this is called electroencephalography). For something of that calibur it has to be invasive and its not.
Completely mind controlled games would be idiotic. What this would really be useful for is something to be used as a companion to a controller, not a replacement. Seriously, how much fun would you have sitting there not moving at all. What this would be great for is something like Home on the PS3, where you could control your character's facial expressions with your own expressions, or have a Star Wars game where you literally used the force by concentrating on what you wanted to do.
From what I understand, in testing they have been able to interface it in such a way that they can move characters and change direction, but my understanding is the first public version is going to be a secondary control type device. Like for picking up items or changing weapons or bringing up menus. First step in completely mind controlled games though.

Quick question, is he moving about using the WSAD or arrow keys and looking about with a mouse? If this game is completley controlled by brain power then I'm going to eat my own pants.
I watched this video 2 years ago, and now i hope that Emotiv will speed up their development.
The future is now?

This is just a more advanced OCZ NIA. It's for everything but aiming (eg movement,reload,shoot...) in first person shooters.

I'd like to see a music maker, where you can make a console output tones and beats neurologically. That would be a whole new universe of awesome.

They wouldn't be idiotic at all, it'd be like real life - only problem is it's basically impossible right now

The only scary thing is how badly you don't understand the technology.
