This game's concept was good but omg the freakin screen keeps on moving while your trying to aim and shoot! In critical situations when you actually do need to shoot someone/thing's main body part to flinch them, the screen moves while your aiming and you miss and lose precious wasted ammo. eg: rocket/grenade launcher :( Still it's pretty fun. I believe they should make it on the PS3. As with their ever first installment of resident evil on the PS, they should stick with the PS3.

The first game came out on the ps1.I think there were some sega ports but they were horrible compared to the ps1 version.The only other games i can think of are REmake and re zero.But those came out a long time after the first game.And there is of course re4 wich is multi plat.

Resident Evil should not have been made into a rail shooter. You cant go and explore on your own like the rest of the games and in my opinion, the fact that you can get lost in the old ones, is what makes RE so awsome

i loved every resident evil i have played so far. my favorite is resident evil 4, i didn't really like resident evil 3, it was to chaotic and dynamic for my taste, same with outbreak too. resident evil umbrella chronicles is definitely one of my favorites, i hope that darkside can fill the shoes of umbrella chronicles and more, from the looks of it it looks like it will lol.

I think the reason why they create darkside chronicles and the first, is they wanted to show us how it looked like if its more realistic. The puzzle and the others were only for an extra challenge for the players. So I really look at these remake as a movie rather than a game.

Claire was a normal 19 year old college student when she encountered Raccoon City, all the other protagonists were either S.T.A.R.S members, police officers, or part of some other kind of special team in the other Resident Evils.

And I hardly see how the REmake portrayed Jill as inferior. In fact, there was a point when she overpowered Barry by taking his gun. Think things through before speaking -__-

Claire was not scared at all in re2 and now all the sudden in the remake shes all scared an shit, i don't understand it, and in re remake jill is totally scared by by joseph is mauled by the 3 zombie dogs, shocking, yes, but she falls back on her ass, and chris had to rescue her, later when she drained the bathtub, to get a key, and a zombie rose out of the tub, she puked, yes jill was able to get the .357 away from barry because he was totally off his game, i do think before i speak too much

Explain to me how you think Claire was not scared at all in RE2. Darkside Chronicles delves more in the characters then the originals did. The originals couldn't have you hearing what the person was feeling most of the time.

I never said Jill wasn't scared. Anyone would be scared of their friend get ripped apart by dogs, no less dogs that lack big chunks of their skin. And you also realize men tend to hide their fear more than women, so it makes sense she showed hers. That's not being sexist.

it didn't show claire being scared in re2, like this one dose, i wouldn't have minded hearing what claire was thinking in the original re2, it would have added dmore to the game, and the characters i never heard it said that darkside would go more indepth into a characters personality... the fact f the matter in re remake only jill was scared, none of the men on the ground were, showing her as the weakest character among them, which i don;t belive but i got that impression...

We may still get a RE4 style game on Wii, they take time to make and I reckon Capcom have learned they cant cobble these games together and expect them to sell from Dead Rising. The current producer feels zombies wouldnt work in a RE4 type game, maybe he could homage RE2 with a section set in a police station being invaded by Plagas and have the characters retreat to the sewers.
