You know you will sweet thing. I wonder now about old age loving. We were so young and strong and then someone had to write this song. I loved the song then,but never thought it would apply to YOU and I someday. How did did you find me in this horrible shape I am in. A few years back I got free tickets to an Anne Murray Concert. I was reluctant to go - but did. WOW - she sure won me over! Amazing energy. And her voice as well as the words & melodies of her songs woo me to this day.

The first time I heard this song was an Anne Murray special. She sang it with a French Canadian guy, and he introduced it as a song written in the French and Indian War by s French soldier going off to war. I love that version, him in French, Anne in English.
