Look. Coming down the blood river. What is it, you say? I heard an old man once refer to it as an "error". No-one knows what they were originally. Something which broke or which couldn't be translated during the great change. In the world we're in now, we cannot even imagine what it might once have been. That shape no longer exists.
The poems Ruth White recites are The Flowers of Evil by Baudelaire, one of the greatest works of French literature! I loved this record when I got it from a friend around 1979 but someone stole it and I cannot find it anywhere. Many of the pieces from the album are now uploaded her but not the entire thing in order. If you have it, maybe you could upload it all.
Ruth White lived with George and Boski Antheil in 1950-1952 while a student at UCLA. George met Ruth through Anna Mahler, daughter of the famous composer. He never charged her for lessons.
What year did this come out? Sounds like Throbbing Gristle before Throbbing Gristle, especially the spoken word vib over the top of innovative electronic synth soundscapes
Did you ever find Ruth White? My great-uncle said that he worked with her at EMI in the 70s and lost track of her. Said she was very nice and a student of George Antheil for a while. He thinks she's still alive in California. He has all her stuff from EMI because they'd get it for free. She did a really nice version of Les Barricades Mysterieuses.
I'll tell you what's rare.....a picture and bio of this woman....or man! I can't find a thread of information on her anywhere without pulling up a million other Ruth Whites. If anyone out there has any information please drop me a line or comment. It would be so unique and rare to me I'd have to dedicate a whole blog post to the discovery.

I just found out about this. I don't know what to think of it just yet, but this lady/man is certainly an enigma.
