I always fear not being able to defend the takedown cause when I'm on my back I'm not that good at countering punches if they've got full mount. This is the reason for a at least half my losses and most of my T/KO defeats.

When you see them whip you flick in the opposite direction that they are whipping you. That's to counter. To get out of it you can throw off quick punches after a knee and hold back to back off.
