  • i adore all of them. Except for Bennett. He can suck it.

  • Jayne still going strong at 90+ and the only one still with us from this episode!

  • Back in the day when wishing friends a "Merry Christmas" didn't get gasps of horror.

  • @71superbee3 aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!! you said Merry Christmas!!!!!

  • Jayne is stunning, so was Audrey RIP, She was having so much fun too

  • John was stripping Jane there. Way to go Johnny boy!

  • "Oh it must have been terribly private!"

    I laughed so hard!

  • So this is 62-63?

  • Amazing that a newspaper strike could really harm things like Broadway back then. Today if newspapers completely disappeared no one under 50 would even bat an eye.

  • Jayne and Arlene are soo attractive.

    Damn!!

  • In the video "Jayne Meadows ~ What Is A Husband (HQ)" there's another appearance as a guest, but that segment apparently isn't here.

  • Arlene Francis has one SEXY mouth! Beautiful LIPS!

  • OH! YOU NAUGHTY THING!

  • @gibran53

Arlene Francis is ALL sexy, she was a very lovely and sweet lady. I adore watching all these wml's primarily due to her and Dorothy Killgallen.

  • Is there a reason Florida is on the flipping cards?

  • The sponser at the time was Canned Orange Juice from Florida see 0:13 above the sign in blackboard.

  • Oh, thanks. I didn't catch that.

  • When you watch these WML - all the cards will have a general outline of the particular sposored product , in siloette more often than not , in the 50's sponsors crudely attempted what was termed product recognition, by virtue of the shape of the container- i.e. Coke cola bottle etc.

TV was in its infancy then and these were mostly brand name ads which was the selling point for the Tv industry - a big tv show would be "carried" by a sponsor Danny Thomas > POST cereal Diana Shore > Chevrolet

  • @UofLCardFan08 Florida citrus sponsored this broadcast.

  • Awesome

  • Newspaper strike at this time that Jayne Meadows mentions. I remember strikes in 1962 and 1970s. Now, with the prevalence of the Internet, have we seen the last newspaper strike?
